States on website that breakfast is included; nothing was offered while check-in is through a window; the main building was closed. They said that when I leave early (I didn’t say that I was leaving early) then they stated that wanted me to drop off the key in the box next to the window; then they asked what time I’ll be leaving…I stated that I don’t know…check out isn’t until 1100. It was extremely noisy all night; traffic, placed next to the stairs, and the walls are super thin (I travel with 2 service dogs whom have some time during the night to not be on “duty” and have a break…they are well behaved and usually do not have an issue, but the extra noise with all the factors stated, did not help)…also, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, causing my back hurt after tossing and turning trying to find a comfortable position. Needless to say, I did not sleep very well. I don’t know what I was expecting; a MOTEL is definitely different than a HOTEL.

I tried canceling long before 1hr prior to get refund per stated in cancelation policy with hotels. Main reason i reserved the room. Guy stated they do not chage cancelation fee that the charge is from the third party website. I would like my redund and am out of my reservation amount due to this. I will never reserve a room from this place again.

This is my 4th or 5th stay here and normally it is a decent experience for the price but this time they placed me in one of the 'suites' in the corner where anyone could attack me and no one would be able to see it. There was no microwave when I have been placed in rooms with microwaves my 2 other previous times. The couple next door to me were loud this time. And I saw a mid-age man acting suspiciously as he approached a room of a very young woman and it was just an off interaction of them looking at me while I was in my car getting ready to grab some food and then rechecking to see if I had left already. My intuition told me that there was some shady stuff going on there. As a solo female traveler, I felt unsafe more times than not this time around. If you are planning to book, do not expect the same amenities every time you are there. Oh, this was the second time that I walk into a room that has a big puddle of water because someone turns off the refrigerator cooling dial all the way down, so I am left cleaning the large puddle and then turning on the refrigerator dial and waiting for it to get cold. You have to pay for the ice at the ice machine but can ask the staff if they have any quarters as well.

I should have done more research when I first booked a room. I saw it had an 8 score and it was “very good” so I went for it. For one, the neighborhood is ghetto. When we entered we noticed the floor was dirty, there was left over food in the fridge, a partially used toilet paper, and a used bandaid hanging from the bathroom ceiling. There was also a lady having a VERY loud conversation outside in front of our room regarding her personal court business. Never again.
