Non smoking rooms were Very Smoked room. When cleaning the room, they should have known and not given out the room as Non-Smoking room.our luggages and all our clothes including our body smelled like heavy smoker. Very disappointed.

The front desk is friendly does a good job checking in for my room my carpet was wet by bathroom and really old carpet with stains and had a smell from wet carpet and air conditioner was really loud made a lot of noise and people standing outside playing the music from there car loud

Staff was friendly and welcoming. The parking was plentiful. Close to grocery store and food options. Nothing fancy so if you’re looking for all the frills go somewhere else. This is a basic room. The hotel is a bit older. Rooms have basic toiletries. Ours had a microwave and fridge which came in handy. Carpet was a bit older and should be replaced but there was hot water and good shower pressure. AC/Heater worked fine. Blankets and pillows are a bit used but we slept well and we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room it was more for resting at night and getting ready for the day. Again don’t expect an upscale room it is basic but gets the job done. Also if you need ice take the five minute walk down the road. They have vending machines for late night snacks. Elevator for upper floors and I didn’t use the pool since we were only there for a few nights and the ocean is about a 20-30 minute drive.

WARNING!! Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for the family but this was the worst hotel we've walked into. The front desk employee was nice and helpful the whole time but the rooms were EXTREMELY DIRTY. Keep in mind we had a late check-in (passed midnight) we were all tired and just wanted to sleep. Right away we walked into the room and it smelled so BAD!, we found ROACHES on the sink, carpet and window. Asked to get a new room and right away as we entered the 2nd room there was a soda cup on the dresser, the mini fridge had OLD FOOD, a DIRTY SOCK in the closet, DIRTY BED, and the carpet was EXTREMELY DIRTY. We were not comfortable staying the night, specially with our children. We decided to leave and try to find another place to stay. I was able to get refunded only half of what I paid which was better than nothing. The place looks NOTHING like the pictures on here, the rooms looks like they have wooden floors but they told me they only have 1 room (which was taken) all others have carpet. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! For some reason i can't post pictures, i definitely took some.

I was really comfortable. Smells clean, bathroom are nice! Just need a $50 deposit that you get back at check out. A bit high.

Stayed 6 nights and only received maid service once after requesting. The elevator was broken so had to use stairs to carry luggage. Laundry room was broken. The AC/ Heater in the room was broken. Caught a cold because it was raining and freezing in the rooms.

My experience at the gateway inn was quiet and comfortable. My room was so clean and it smelled clean in and around the property

Everything was fine and excellent only thing was the coffee maker had been previously used and had a used bag of coffee left on the container and the tv was not working not a single channel was available
