This hotel is a disaster! I had inadvertently booked the wrong date for check in. **** happens. Takes 3 1/2 hours to get to Gatlinburg from Nashville. We arrived around 10:30pm and it was a spur of the moment, short get away. I had originally booked a king jacuzzi suite. Well apparently they didn’t have any other rooms but 1 standard queen size pet friendly room across the street! It was nasty! Needed remodeled badly! But I took it on the chin because I had booked the wrong night. That wasn’t my complaint. My complaint was I had paid for a King Jacuzzi Suite and ended up with a standard Queen. When I asked for a partial refund (the difference) the hotel out right refused. I’ve stayed with Sidney James several times and for over 20 years. My family has used them for our weddings we have had in Gatlinburg, we have always loved them. But after this. None of us will ever stay with them again. I should have been refunded the difference between a King Jacuzzi suite and a standard Queen especially when you can get a standard Queen for roughly 70 bucks and I paid 140.00. Needless to say we left at 9am that morning because I have asthma and I couldn’t breathe in that room anyways! We will never return and I would advise anyone to RUN to another hotel asap because this one has went down hill and nobody that works there even cares!

What a great place to stay! Fireplace, balcony over a creek and a hot tub in the room. Off the main ***** but still close to everything.

We stayed in the king suite with the jacuzzi and the fire place and it was sooooo nice. We also had a microwave and mini fridge in our room. I can not relate to some of the reviews on here our stay was amazing.

Looks completely different from online is like a motel rooms are outdated and have holes and water damage

This hotel was in a great location. I was just a few minutes walk from downtown Gatlinburg. It also had a great pool and hot tub. Our granddaughter was with us and wanted to play in the pool, of course. But the pool was so warm it was comfortable for all. We had a room next to the creek and enjoyed throwing food to the trout in the creek.

It was a bit dated, but really nice. Had a suite with an in room jacuzzi and fireplace. Very happy with the place.

The hot tub in the room did not have enough hot water, you only had abt 5 minutes before it was cold. When I told the front desk, the lady said everyone on our hall was complaining abt the same thing but that we were all using it at the same time and to wait 30 minutes or so and try again. The water never would get hot again.

Everything was good. The room was clean, affordable and close to main ***** of Gatlinburg which was nice. Got our steps in. Only downside is the parking, not the worst but just tight. I still would recommend to others.
