Hotel Seespitz Superior - Adults Only

After the surprise of the view from my 'lake view' nroom, everything was wonderful. (Ignoring the faxt it takes 45 mins to walk around the lake, I had visions of a HUGE lake with passenger boats!) My room was very spacious and comfortable.the balcony was not very deèp as it is typical chalet style but very nice to sit out on during the day. Comfortable chairs are provided. The food was delicious. Service was organised. As part of a group we reserved our table for the whole holiday. The dinner menu was on the table from late the previous night and choices were ticked for collection at breakfast. We were all served at the same time. The hotel has a fantastic location. A few minutes walk from the small town, much of which is pedestrianised. I didn't use the spa or pool but others enjoyed them. Staff were all friendly in a spontaneous manner - not formal or officious. Lots of info. I left my mobile in a pharmacy while out walking and in tiredness left it behind. The lively man on reception called the shop and dealt with it for me - thankfully. Lots to see and do. Good transport. A special tourist card was issued to each guest with accom details and a variety of activities were free to holders. I tried 'Forest Bathing'. Good opportunity to try something new. Lots of other more mainstream things to do. I hope to go back. Thank you all at Seespitz.

We have just returned from a week in this fabulous hotel. Since returning, my husband has been telling everyone who will listen about it & that he will never find another hotel as good as this wherever he goes! We stayed in room 216 - a deluxe room, which was huge, and more storage space & coat hangers than I have ever come across.It had a view of the lake and a large balcony. As with other reviews, the food was plentiful and to a very high standard. I am a 'picky eater' but found at least 1 main course I could eat from the choice - and the waiters were happy to alter anything e.g. substituted potatoes for the risotto/ice cream instead of a dessert choice. The desserts were fabulous and one day came with an unexpected, homemade brandy snap. When I mentioned next morning that the brandy snap the evening before was fabulous, the owner said I should have asked for more! No good telling me that the morning after :). We have never come across such obliging, friendly, staff - including the maids. Every morning at breakfast & every evening at dinner, the owner went to every table to check everything was OK - a fantastic gesture. Every afternoon, there were complimentary cakes in the bar area. The weather was mixed - as you would expect in the mountains, but the spa meant there was something to do even when it rained. We could fault nothing with this hotel. If we were returning to Seefeld, we would not stay anywhere else - the best hotel & location in the village.
