ホテル ニケ(Hotel Nike)

From start to finish the hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is great with the ability to walk into town or nearby beaches, whilst also being very peaceful. The staff were fantastic and so hospitable and friendly. We stayed on a half-board basis with excellent continental buffet breakfast each morning (including bacon and eggs for any fellow Brits worried they'll miss a full English!). The evening meal was on an a la carte basis with options, and every dish we tried was delicious, and staff were also very accommodating of my food allergy. Rooms and common areas were clean and as advertised in pictures. Facilities were good and it was nice to have the choice of swimming in the sea via the ladder or using the pool at a neighbouring hotel, and there were plenty of sun loungers. All round it was a fantastic stay and I cannot praise the hotel high enough!

Awful hotel & definitely a 1 star not 4 star! Dirty & scruffy & staff not great either. I would never recommend this hotel. It needs serious renovations every where including pool area. Nothing like the pictures on website

This hotel was an allocated package deal, and we were not disappointed. All Staff are friendly , the room was cleaned every day in our week stay. It is situated on a rocky coastline with hotel Kalos and hotel Arethena Rocks , all owned by Chincherini. There are two swimming pools, and if you are brave, you can enter the sea from the rocks. Buffet style breakfast at the Nike/ Kalos which share facilities, and the Atherena has its own , but easily accessible on the sea front. Evening meals are not great, 20 euros per head for five courses, starting with a vegetable buffet , soup, pasta, main, and dessert. But there are restaurants 200m away and all the way along the beach. I would happily recommend here, especially with a sea view room.

Awful place - very tired & everything is in great need of refurbishing. Staff very unfriendly & breakfast was awful. Sorry I can’t say anything positive about this hotel. The room was passable until you opened up to the balcony to a rusty table @ AC unit!!

Really nice hotel in a good location for a walk into town. The staff were really friendly and joke around when serving dinner. Having the breakfast outside looking at the water was a bit plus for us.

There is no pool. The access to a pool is NOT on the property but on a hotel, not next door but two hotels down the street. Its a construction site with trash lying around. The hotel management replies when I say our family can´t walk in this high risk area "but its just kids, they fall"

We went on a package tour (it wasn't the hotel we understood we'd booked for). The location is at one end of the bay, so quiet. It is on the waterfront. The arrangement is unusual in that Hotel Nike (4 star) and Hotel Kalos (3 star) are the same building. The Nike looks to have had a reception at one end (now closed), so you enter another reception with Kalos on the door. We were given a "special upgrade" on arrival (this term always rings alarm bells for me) to a room in a separate block. This was in fact fine, with a sea view, but meant we had a short walk back into the hotel for breakfast. The courtyard of the block had glazed tiles covering it, meaning you had to be very careful when they were wet (it rained quite often during our stay). Breakfast was okay, but no variation. We didn't try an evening meal, mainly because of the breakfast quality. There are plenty of places to eat within short walking distance. We did not see inside a room in the main building so can't comment on them, but have a 3 and 4 star hotel in the same building seems odd, especially as the guests of both get to eat the same breakfast. Generally the building needed attention internally and externally - paint, finishing and some rendering and more involved repairs. There were also obvious trip/slip hazards that should be addressed. I'd have given the experience a 3.5 star rating if I could. As far as the hotel is concerned I feel it is 3 star. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Hotel only reopened in May 2022 and like some previous reviews have said, could do with some more paint here and there. On a positive note the new staff are friendly and speak a range of languages so getting help with tours or local restaurants was ok. Shared pool with next door hotel and clear blue sea on the doorstep make it very relaxing. Views of Mr Etna and being close to the Giardina Naxos ***** but not in it makes it an ideal location.

Great hotel with very good service. Quiet and free sunbeds. Good breakfast and niece and clean rooms. The reception is very frendly and helpfull. They helped us with Taxi and Etna-tour. Good drinks. Near to the centrum and a long beach. We would very much like to comeback
