Best experience ever. The Inn Keeper and staff make your stay so special and welcoming. The food was delicious. Their quiche is the best I’ve ever had. The grounds and landscape are beautiful and peaceful. The pool is an extra bonus. Highly recommend!

We booked the Burke Manor Inn when we went to see our granddaughter at Elon a few weeks ago. What a wonderful experience!! We stayed in suite #203 and it was everything and more than advertised! We had dinner twice at St. Jacques, the second one with our granddaughter and her boyfriend and both were nothing short of spectacular!! Lil, Lori and the staff made our stay one of the most pleasurable experiences we have had. Five Star all the way! Oh, and did I mention the included fabulous breakfasts each morning! Lovely one night stay as we explored the local area. This property is in little-known Gibsonville, NC, near Burlington, NC which may not mean much to most people. The B&B is in a historic building owned & operated by a couple that used to run a French restaurant in Raleigh, NC. They've replicated the restaurant style & ambience in the B&B making for a great dinner & overnight outing. The B&B is a 30-60 second walk to the heart of downtown Gibsonville. There are a few shops worth exploring including a micro-brewery, chocolate shop, Argentinean bakery, and a antique mall/market. Be aware that most of those places are closed or have limited hours on Sundays. Our room was spacious, with high ceilings and certainly comfortable. While we probably had the noisiest room being the only one just off the lobby, we found that by 9:30pm, people had vacated the restaurant and everything was quiet after that. Breakfast was quiche & fruit which was good. The property has an outdoor pool which looked inviting. The people working there handled both the B&B reception as well as the restaurant were friendly and accommodating. For other things to do in the local area, the room has some information. I would suggest checking out Red Oak Brewery as they have a beer garden that was pretty festive over the weekend.

This is an old family house, so a little quirky as an Inn; however, Lori and Lil more than just compensate for any imperfections. The service and food were excellent. Lori runs the front of the house, while Lil concentrates on the kitchen. Between them they create magic. A welcome unlike any other we have experienced. This is now our pied de Campagne, the ideal place for an overnight getaway.

Fantastic stay. Rooms are well done, comfortable. The chef made sure food allergies were taken into account, staff very friendly and family like atmosphere. And, very peacefull at night. Breakfasts were delicious and very generous portions. Will be staying there again.

What an unexpected jewel. Everything about our state was first rate, the Manor house was lovely, beautifully furnished, comfortable and a special treat at Christmas. The restaurant was again first rate, wonderful variety of selections, and each exquisitely done, the wine list was fully representative, but did not have duplications. The pairings with the dinner was outstanding. But the biggest surprise was excellent Calvados. So few have it, and most are insipid. That was excellent quality, big, full flavor and went so well with the dessert special bread pudding. The manor staff were on top of everything and so cordial, and the serving staff were attentive, personable, and rarely these days very well dressed. And, lastly the bed was so comfortable. All in all a wonderful time, and we are already looking on our calendar for a time to return.

Fantastic layout for a Wedding venue! Cozy, quaint and peaceful. Having the comforts of home, bed, shower and coffee with your deliciously healthy breakfast served whenever you are ready. The huge tent right there on the property made it so convenient for setting up and taking down. The whole experience was a lot of work, but a super great idea, we all had a wonderful time!

This was a last minute booking and we were so glad to have stumbled upon this sweet place. My husband and I were on a multi state road trip and this precious little B&B was absolutely perfect! Wonderful hosts, cute rooms and delicious breakfast. The veranda blankets were much appreciated to be able to sit out on the porch on a cold morning and sip coffee! Great place, great memories!
