Wow, an amazing hotel - perfectly located, whisper quiet and feels brand new. We arrived on a Saturday for 2nights exploring Girona and couldn't have been more delighted. Our room was a suite on level 5 (room 520) and it was sensational. A great lounge room, light and bright with a massive tv (the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel) and comfy couches, tea and coffee making facilities and a sliding door to the massive bedroom (allowing me to go to bed while my husband watched tv till late). The bedroom was great too - large, light and bright (but importantly with block out blinds) and there was also a massive tv in the bedroom (so I did watch some tv before falling asleep). Airconditioning in both rooms on separate units. Also a walk in wardrobe. The sleep quality was excellent as it's whisper quiet despite being located on a major road - the windows are double glazed. The bathroom had a great shower/bath with great water pressure and hot water. Big white fluffy towels. And the bathrooms was big too. Breakfast is served downstairs in a large, light and bright room. It's a buffet and has a great range of fresh meats and cheeses, pastries and hot items. Coffee is either freshly ground or a pod (your choice). There is a hidden rooftop bar and pool (not widely publicized) - on the sixth floor - and a great spot to see Girona and watch the sunset. The location is brilliant. Aldi, Lidl and Mercadona are all literally opposite the hotel (open everyday except Sunday). There is a Carrefour Express a 2minute walk away for Sundays. Great restaurants within walking distance (5-10minutes) - with our favourite La Gioia (a fantastic pizzeria - authentic wood fired pizzas and wonderful service). The old town (no cars) is a 10minute walk away - and I'd recommend walking there via the Parc de la Devesa which is just gorgeous (adjacent to a large tree lined street - perfect and safe to walk along and the park is great for kids, dogs and to just to relax). Parking is so easy. Free parking behind the Aldi and Lidl. Staff were fantastic - warm, friendly, helpful and importantly spoke multiple languages. Special shoutout to Alex, Julia and Roby (and the whole breakfast team). We loved our stay at Doubletree Girona and would definitely stay there again if visiting Girona - which is a great city to explore (and great to cycle in).

A standard ibis hotel. They have also an Ibis Budget in the same property. Clean room, fully functional bathroom. Big shower area. I have given three stars because I found that charging the standard car rate for a motorcycle in an underground parking which then has small motorcycle spaces for them is too much. Only for this reason when I go thru Girona next time I will explore other options. I don’t like being overcharged.

SNCFのストライキのためにフランスで遅れたので、ジローナで予想外にセビリアの休暇先まで足を踏み入れていることに気づきました。Flixbusでフランスを横断して旅行した後、滞在するのに良い価値のある場所が必要でした。私たちは真夜中頃にジローナに非常に遅く到着しました。その夜オンラインで予約しました。プロセスは簡単でした。セルフチェックインは素晴らしかった。部屋自体はバスルームと同様に非常にきれいでしたが、臭いは絶対に有毒で圧倒的でした。シャワーを空にし、寝室の窓を投げるまで、バスルームをまったく使用できませんでした。バスルームのドアを開けたときの最初の息がまだ少し心配です。私たちの部屋は307でした。歯を磨いてトイレを使う唯一の方法は、シャワーの排水口をバスルームのマットで覆うことでした。それから私たちはドアを閉めて寝室の窓を広く開けて寝ました。会社は307号室にこの問題があることを知っていなければならないので、会社がこれが遅れて最後の分予約であることを知ったときに部屋が私たちに割り当てられたことは非常に残念です。私は寝る直前に***********経由で会社に電話をかけました。朝、会社が私たちに別の部屋を提供してくれたのを見ましたが、明らかに私は前夜または早朝にそのメッセージを見ませんでした。払い戻しを希望し、それを要求しましたが、応答はありませんでした。言うまでもなく、私たちはシャワーを浴びることができません。

Mi puntación es la minima. El hotel es un quiero y no puedo, mas cerca de un Hostal, de una pensión que de un Hotel ,aunque sea de una estrella La habitación doble, es la habitación mas pequeña que he visto , no caben ni dos mesitas de noche, una armario o mas bien medio armario al aire , es decir una barra metalica con perchas y pocas perchas El baño ,justito ,justito, lavabo con vasos de cartón,ducha muy pequeña con un solo dosificador , todo junto gel de baño y champoo En recepción una maquina de cafe tipo nexpresson que por un euro te puedes hacer un cafe, tambien en recepciión una nevera con bebidas para paggr en el mostrador El baño de recepción ,es unisex y con malisima ventilación por lo que el olr tira de espaldas Para lo que es , muy caro Desayuno concertado cerca del hotel y el parkink lo mismo,hay que d**** un paseito A favor que el precio del desyuno y del parking es moderado He estado varias veces en Gerona y es el peor hotel donde me he alojado
