Premier Inn Glasgow CC Buchanan Galleries

Room is clean with good shower. Location is very near Buchanan station which is very convenient to travel outside Glasgow.Breakfast is ok, no variation for the whole week during our stay.

Took my wife away for her birthday and we wanted somewhere central to stay. I opted for the premier room and was not disappointed. Fantastic views of the city, clean and tidy room, very comfortable bed with good facilities. On arrival, the self check in machines weren’t working but were soon checked in by helpful staff. The option to get discounted parking (£8 for 24hours) at the Concert Hall car park was really helpful, only a couple of minutes walk away. Would definitely recommend.

We have stayed in Premier Inns in Glasgow before and always been happy. But this time we selected this one for the handy location and were very disappointed. The reason being the £10 charge for early check in, never had this at any Premier Inn before and we have stayed at a fair few. Arrived at 1.30pm and told no check in until 3pm unless we pay £10 for early check in. We thought not worth it for short time so left suitcases and went shopping. Arrived back to reception at 3.30pm to massive queues at the two check in desks. Perhaps we should have expected this but after travelling, trekking round shops waiting in a long queue to check in was horrendous. What price here customer care/service? If the room is ready then let it! If not then we wait. A huge hotel like this must know if rooms available for early check in so why the greed snatching an extra £10? We are booking 2 rooms in Glasgow late November for some Christmas shopping but certainly won’t be in this hotel.

About a 5/6 min uphill walk from Queen Street station. Nice and central. The rooms are what you expect from a Premier Inn - clean and decent sized. The staff were all pleasant and friendly. The breakfast is good value at £9.99 for all you can eat (included fry up and continental). Would stay again.

great location and always use Premier Inn. Room good. No early check in which I know not always possible but staff member couldn’t care less when I asked when it would be a good idea to return. Rude actually. Finally got back at 2.15 and still charged me £10 for so called early check in. Customer loyalty not valued or just an unhelpful staff member. They are normally better than this. What a shame!

Stayed here as going to the Concert Hall so the location couldn’t have been better. Great location in the centre of Glasgow so convenient for all amenities. The hotel room was recently refurbished so was fresh and clean. The staff made our hotel stay special as were so friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was good too. I will definitely stay here again

Tried to cancel this hotel before 1pm on a Sunday. Nobody would answer the telephone and head office are closed on a Sunday. So even though the concert in Glasgow was cancelled, we decided to travel to the hotel anyway ! Room only rate was £152 !!! not cheap.

We used this hotel as a stop over as we went on to our destination and it fulfilled our requirements. Comfortable and friendly

Excellent stay, will definitely be back BUT when we went to pay for our parking after having our ticket validated by one of the hotel staff we were charged the full £26!! The ticket was only stamped with an ink stamper. Just beware of this! Apart from that a lovely stay in a perfect location.
