The first room we were assigned to had a strong smell of cigarettes so we went back to the front desk and we’re assigned a new room. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, however the second room we were assigned to also had a bad smell and was in need of an upgrade. At this point we figured it was late so we were just going to make this room work. The bed was clean and comfortable enough, but the room smelled in general, the carpets were stained and in need of replacement, and the bathroom sink had burn marks in it for some reason. I saw a lot of good reviews for this hotel so maybe just the rooms on the third floor need to be renovated.
