We don’t normally stay at the same hotel twice, but we had such a good holiday the last time we were here we came back. So glad we did too. Amazing friendly staff, reception and waitresses can’t do enough for you. We went half board and the food was superb. Gouvia beach less than 2 minutes walk away. Sun beds for hire at €6 each. There is a little museum about 35 mins walk away “Danilia Village” well worth a visit cost €10 to enter but you get a free drink in return the market scenes from the Durrells and James Bond for your eyes only were filmed here. Love this place.

A great hotel, fantastic place to eat, in a good location to beach, shops. I had such a warm welcome, the guys are always smiling. My room was perfect, really cosy, clean and tidy. I ate at the in-house restaurant everyday, food was excellent quality and value. Ty, Mat

Lovely hotel in a great location, close to shops, restaurants and the beach / marina. The staff were really welcoming, very helpful and friendly. We stayed for 10 nights bed & breakfast, the buffet style breakfast was brilliant with a wide range of freshly prepared options to suit everyone. The rooms were clean with good air-con and the pool area had plenty of chairs / sun-loungers available for all. We all really enjoyed our stay here, thank you very much!

Very Disappointed. We ordered a seafood pasta. As soon as it arrived at table I could smell it. The prawns were not cleaned with very visible dirt tract. It’s a shame as the staff were friendly therefore I didn’t have the heart to say anything. Pizza wasn’t like authentic Italian pizza either

First of all all I can say What a lovely hotel it’s only 3 stars but it’s great we had a room at the back near the pool peace and quiet lovely pool as well we went half board well worth it food was delicious and the portions massive the staff at the Palotel are amazing everyone of them made time to speak to us they went out of there way to make you feel welcome the area around Gouvia is very nice a short walk to a great marina the beach is a bit pebble and stone but well worth the trouble to go down 12 euros for 2 sun beds and umbrella well worth the money plenty of little bars dotted about as well I wouldn’t hesitate to say this is a great place to stay it’s really nice and quiet as well

We came in earlier than the check in time to leave our bags there and then go to town. The reception lady was so proactive to check how long it would take before our room is ready and we were able to go to the room much earlier than expected. Some of the best staff I have come across. Delicious food with beautiful, clean rooms and great location. Thank you Palotel!

My husband and I have visited Greece for over 35 years and can honestly say our recent holiday at the Palotel was one of the best we've experienced. From the moment we arrived to when we left we felt as though we were among old friends. The warmth of the staff was exceptional. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was varied and plentiful. We chose to eat in the restaurant on a couple of occasions and the food and service was spot on. The Palotel is located in the centre of Gouvia with everything on your doorstep. If you want to experience true Greek hospitality then the Palotel is a must

Just arrived home after short 4 night stay. Last minute booking so wasn't expecting too much!! Well we were wrong!! Absolutely fabulous hotel. Immaculately clean everywhere, staff are all so lovely and friendly. The restaurant food is 5 star! All freshly cooked to order. We were half board and thought wd be a set menu..but we were allowed to choose off of the main menu. The portion sizes were huge. Cdnt finish a single meal. Hotel in perfect central location near all shops,bars and restaurants. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Highly recommend this hotel.
