Independent chalet for personal use - Location: Car-free area of Grächen (1,600 m above sea level), unobstructed views of the surrounding 4000m-high mountains, 600m to the village square, post office and bus station, 100m to Europaweg, restaurants, shops, bakery 400m away, several children's play areas in the vicinity. Features: First floor: Cosy living room with open fireplace, satellite TV, home entertainment, CD, DVD, Blu-ray player, iPod / iPhone docking station. First floor: Dining area for 6 persons. First floor: Open plan, fully equipped, new kitchen with ceramic hob, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, fondue sets (Chinois, cheese), coffee maker, toaster and kettle. First floor: Toilet with washbasins. First floor: Surrounding patio with gas grill and seating. Ground floor: Large bedroom with double bed. Ground floor: Small bedroom with double bed. Ground floor: Small bedroom with bunk bed. Ground floor: Bathroom with bath tub, toilet, sink and shower. Ground floor: Front patio to the large bedroom and exit at the turnaround. Complete set of infant equipments such as crib, high chair, toilet facilities, 1 mountain bike, swing, washing machine, fire bowl with bread stick cutlery, luggage cart, Wi-Fi for a fee or free Wi-Fi at a reduced speed for 30 minutes. Non-smoking house (smoking allowed on the patio), suitable for allergy sufferers as there are no carpets. Pets only upon request. Winter ski area with 45 km of slopes and new cable car from season 2011/12, cross- country skiing, snowshoeing trails and toboggan ideal for families with children, Crèche and children's entertainment, combined ski pass usable at Zermatt, Zermatt is reachable in 45 minutes by taking bus, taxi or car to the cable car. Summer: Huge, serviced hiking area between Visp and Zermatt right in front of the door step, Aletsch region (world cultural heritage) reachable directly with the MG cable car from St. Niklaus, starting point for numerous alpine tours on the 21 surrounding 4000m-high mountains. Grächen is located on the 'Europaweg'. Tour of Monte Rosa - Matterhorn area: Summer ski resorts Zermatt and Saas Fee are 45 minutes away. Visp (25 km - 20 minutes) can be reached by car, train, bus. Sion (65 km - 60 minutes) can be reached by car, train, bus. Chamonix, Mont Blanc (135 km - 120 minutes) is reachable by car, bus.
