H10 プラヤ メロネラス パレス(H10 Playa Meloneras Palace)

Just returned from an absolutely fantastic stay at H10 Meloneras Palace room 547. When we arrived we were checked in by Pavol who was very professional and friendly, and he gave us all the information we required to enjoy our stay. All of the staff we encountered were so cheerful, friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is very well maintained and clean. The restaurant offers a wide choice of well presented and tasty food and again the staff are a credit to the hotel. The pool areas are again very well maintained and offer excellent options for shade to full sunshine. For us everything was perfect for a relaxing time. Thank you to everyone from Pavol on reception to Sonia who looked after our room. The Meloneras Palace is lovely relaxing hotel with very pleasant cheerful and professional staff.

Back again to this wonderful hotel again, nearly 13 years of coming here, lovely renovated room, clean and spacious, big wide-screen tv,great selection of food, with wonderful service from anaysa, who really looks after everyone, also to maitre 'd,souliman again a fantastic host,farid always the gentleman in the wonderful brasserie, only one downside this year, the entertainment seems to have dropped to second class level, all the great acts have gone, we didn't really enjoy most of them, apart from the wonderful 'dancing shoe's ',hopefully the hotel management will listen to there customers concerns ,will be back as soon as possible, many thanks to all the staff, must mention allesandro, absolutely brilliant character, who really makes our stay

A wonderful 5 night stay here in March 2024. We were half board and that was great for us for a short stay. Hotel is really lovely in a great position next to the promenade. With being HB, we had lunch at the nearby restaurants only a few minutes walk away. Breakfast and evening meal at the hotel were good, plenty of choice. The room was lovely, comfortable bed and even a set of scales! Cleaning and presentation of the hotel was of a very high standard. All staff were helpful and pleasant. We would definitely stay here again! Would highly recommend!

First time in Gran Canaria, and we stayed at this jewel of a hotel tho the west of Meloneras. Manicured gardens, magnificent hotel, wonderful staff and a great location 1.5 miles from the Maspalomas lighthouse and a number of shops and restaurants with Lad Dunas, just beyond. We went half board although there was an AI option. Bar prices were lower than the uk for those not on AI. A local commercial area (very quiet) below the hotel overlooking Playa de Meloneras, also had a number of good restaurants and a supermarket for other essentials. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very well kept. Its architecture and design is beautiful and tasteful, they kept buildings low and the hall is a masterpiece. You get stunning views everywhere, shelter from Northerly winds and the location is the last resort of the Meloneras stretch, so you only see ocean or golf club on the side. Quiet. They did a fine job with buffet and kids enter tainment. Nice soa. And if you are wondering whether the pools are heated, the answer is yes: 1 pool full heat, 1 even bigger one is half-heated, still enough. The check in process is very slow for solo travellers, as you made to wait until all the couples have been checked in, even if you have arrived first. Not what I expect from a 5 star hotel. The rooms are very large with large patios or balconies, The bars are often understaffed and you sometimes have to wait a long time for drinks. The canteen which offers is awful. The food is cold. The choice is the same for lunch and evening meal. Steak or fish. It has been the same for the past 4 years. The quality of the meat is questionable. There is choice of cold pasta with a bolognese sauce which is tasteless, or cold pizzas. The chefs should be ashamed of themselves for cooking such awful food. I understand that that there are plans for themed restaurants, Italian or Oriental, so I hope that they don't just keep pretending to offer the same Italian dishes as in the canteen. I hope too that the booking system won't be the same as used in other H10 hotels, as a recent stay in Lanzarote resulted in being unable to use the totems to book, the reception refused to help, as did the staff in the various speciality restaurants, who didn't know how to use the booking system or wouldn't help. I actually lost my bookings and couldn't rebook, because of the mistake of the hotel staff. Whilst I book the All inclusive package, I still prefer to use the local restaurants for meals, as I find the canteen stressful as a solo traveller, and why it demands a dress code is beyond me. I am amazed that staff remember my name whenever I come here, and I would like to mention Yenni, Nathan, Joel, Eloy and Alejandro for their warm welcome and keeping the guests entertained. Thanks to all for making great memories of my stays here.

My husband convinced me to give the H10 another try after last years awful holiday where the nightclubs across the road kept us up all night. This time we came back to find loads of changes. None of them good. I can’t be bothered to go into all the details but in general the standard has dropped significantly. My biggest complaint is the atmosphere in the main show bar in the evening. We missed Eloy in the showbar. He was one reason we loved the H10. The show bar has no atmosphere any more. All of the good shows are gone. We were so relieved to see the Sunday night trio still performing( two singers and saxophone) They were the only decent act all week and we had a great time dancing with them as usual. The rest of the entertainment was dreadful and for us the entertainment in the evening is important as we don’t like to leave the hotel in the evening when we’re on holiday. The food was hit and miss. Definitely not 5 star. The H10 is more like a 2/3 star now. We almost always book Gran Canaria 2/3 times per year. We will stick to Riu from now on. The kids animation was lovely though: very nice and friendly environment for kids.

My partner has been to this hotel 15 times before but this was my first time. Room exceeded expectations. All the (smartly dressed) staff were friendly and helpful. All the usual facilities and quality of a five star hotel. The kids went to daisy club (kids club) every day and the staff there were very good with my 4 and 5 year old. Special mention to Paula at daisy club who was particularly good with the kids.
