Mogodi Lodge

I stayed here recently for 1 night. The accommodation is in a good location by the gorge, with a good-sized room. The strange bathroom layout can make it difficult to use the toilet, and no shampoo is provided. There's good wi-fi in the rooms. There's a wide range of options for dinner. The range of options for breakfast is smaller and the cooked breakfast was rather small.

Great setting handy for various tourist attractions. Rooms functional, but fairly basic - difficult to lock the door (but no one took anything from my room!). Pub/Restaurant "Highland" on site was great - good choice of food & drink (although not all items were priced up). Good non-meat options.

Stayed for two nights in the town of Graskop as a base for exploring the area and was not disappointed staying here. Pricing is reasonable for the accommodation available. Site is well maintained, unit is clean and comfortable. Service from onsite staff is above average. Family run and to be honest the only disappointment was that the onsite restaurant did not open on either of the nights we were there. Close to the local shops for restocking before moving on or self catering when staying over. Also a stone throw away from the main attraction in the town which is the Graskop Gorge and a visit to the bottom of it in the gorge lift is well worth the cost. Thanks for the stay and the value for money product.

Staff were welcoming and accommodating - particularly Kyle! He is an Incredibly charismatic and enthusiastic lad. Rooms were basic but did the trick for an overnight stop on the way to Kruger. Food in the restaurant was of a good standard. We were informed of the expected load shedding times and how this might impact restaurant service. Pool was not the cleanest I have ever seen but not bad as far as outdoor pools go.

Mogodi Lodge was a beautiful place to stay, close to all sites, food stores, the restaurant is great and the views are amazing. The reception was really bad so I recommend wifi. Swimming pool wasn’t clean, hope to swim next time!

Wir haben hier eine Nacht während unserer Rundreise übernachtet. Die Zimmer waren schön groß und sauber und wir hatten die Möglichkeit uns Tee/Kaffee auf dem Zimmer zuzubereiten. Das Abendessen und das Frühstück waren in Büffetform und sehr gut.
