Very good experience

Simply a great experience. Checked in was efficient and relaxing. Offered a glass of champagne followed by a tour of the facility and then escorted to our room. We had a lava view which was great room. I think the difference between a lava and a moss view is the floor. The changing light on the lava and moss on top provided variation. Checked in about 4:30 PM. Booked a in water treatment at 6:00 (not included) which jumpstarts your time at the Retreat. We followed that by an hour exploring the private lagoon. Then we went to the ritual experience (included) at 7:00 PM. We planned dinner for 8:30 PM so that we could get one last dip in the private lagoon before closing. Just a great evening. Our only disappointment was not being able to get into the Moss restaurant. It was fully booked and this was a last minute reservation for us. In the morning there was a great buffet in the reception lounge area that was included. We checked out the larger public lagoon to realize we only wanted to stay in the private lagoon. Took in one more ritual experience before check out.

We stayed here on our European trip! It was the much needed break that we needed with our family in a location that was the most wonderful experience. Everything about this hotel was next level. My favourite thing was the view from the room. As Australians we aren’t used too such a view - and it was stunning! One day we will come back!

One of the worlst experiences of my life as I was essentially scammed by these pigs, offered a refund for a major mistake they made with transfers and after 6 months am still awaiting my refund which they said was processed in July...

Built in 2018, this very ambitious hotel has experienced several volcanic eruptions closing it down several times, however, it’s a true masterpiece from start to finish and will persevere for a long time. Located at the heart of the Blue Lagoon, the centerpiece here is The Spa, the reason why you stay here. Everyone walks around with robes and slippers during the day. We stayed in a compact yet very efficient junior suite. Excellent rain shower, comfy king bed, excellent views, and complementary snacks and beverages. The spa features a nice cafe, typical wet amenities to relax and private lagoon experiences including outdoor massages in the lagoon. It is connected to the public area in which you enjoy the gigantic lagoon with walk up bar, complementary facial mud, sauna and steam room like you’ve never seen before. Shockingly, they have two outstanding restaurants, Moss and Lava. We ate at Lava and it was stunning with lava and water views. Excellent menu featuring homemade breads, fresh fish, lamb and steak. Stunning bar area. Make reservations in advance, it was packed. Moss is a Michelin restaurant with prix fixed menu. Overall, the place to stay and indulge when visiting the Blue Lagoon.
