They beat a lot of those 5 star hotels out there! You’ll have one of a kind experience here. Even my husband said they have the BEST view among all the hotels in Grindelwald. The whirlpool/jacuzzi is just perfect with that icy mountain view. Their restaurant also has a great spot we spent the whole morning just chillin there eating, drinking coffee and appreciating the nature. Food is fresh and delicious. The staff is also super nice and helpful. They love chatting and giving information. What more can you ask for? It’s all perfect!

Beauty abounds at this cozy retreat. We had an amazing mountain view from our room complete with a comfortable balcony, overlooking a beautiful green valley. The ample sized rooms include a nice Nespresso coffee maker, a Marshall wifi box, and a pleasant bed and pillows. Gym and free laundry are on site also. The included buffet was wonderful, with many options, and the staff were very friendly as well. We had a hamburger with fries and salmon the first night we arrived. Unfortunately we didn’t feel the value, as the food seemed average for the price we paid. Also, we were in room 302, and the shower drained extremely slow. We called the front desk and were advised someone would check it out, but they never showed. Despite that I’m giving this hotel five stars because there were so many positives. Would definitely return!

My partner, now fiancée, and I recently stayed at Boutique Hotel Glacier as we got engaged in Grindelwald. This hotel had absolutely everything and is without doubt the place to stay in Grindelwald. The service from every member of staff we interacted with amazing, the room was spacious and modern, the food and drink delicious and the views sublime. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, an unforgettable weekend for us was made superb by Boutique Hotel Glacier.

Great Boutique Hotel, Very nice and warmth staff and Amazing Location! The cherry on the cake is the view on the north face with all its history and fascination. The food and the drinks (italian sommelier) are at a very good level and the overall atmosphere is very relaxed.

Our stay at the Boutique Hotel Glacier was an absolute dream. If you are searching for the perfect hideaway in the mountains this is the one! We had such a great time. We stayed in a signature room sunrise with a private whirlpool, it was perfect in every way. The view of this Hotel is spectacular. We could watch outside the window for forever. The whole service was so excellent and the staff incredibly obliging and friendly. The breakfast that is offered is really of high quality and absolutely fantastic. We loved our time at the Boutique Hotel Glacier. If you search for a discription of a perfect mountain hideaway. This is it for us. They have the most beautiful view and rooms. My wife and I along with another couple enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Glacier in late March 2024. Upon arrival we found an immaculately clean room with a wonderful view of the Eiger. The hotel is located a short walk from the bustling center of Gridelwald which added to the charm of our stay. As superb as the facility itself was, the staff was even better. In particular Monika, Christian, and Jonathan provided 5 star service to us in the restaurant and bar. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

I went for lunch again today at the Petit Glacier, the bistro-style restaurant that is part of the beautiful Hotel Glacier. You can enjoy your lunch at the Hotel Glacier with a fantastic view of the Eiger. I had the vegan burger. Like the meat version I tried recently, this burger also tastes extremely good. The chips served with it are nice and crispy. Be sure to order the profiteroles or the pain au chocolat for dessert. As always, the service is attentive and friendly. I'll definitely be back!

We visited Hotel Glacier for our summer holiday in August 2023 and it was fantastic. We were warmly greeted and given our room keys. We went up the lift to our room on the third floor: we paid a little extra to have a view of the Eiger and were so glad! It was so beautiful waking up to the view and sitting on the balcony looking out at it on an evening. The breakfast was delicious - we looked forward to it every day! They served hot breakfasts with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, rosti, a selection of fruits (dried and fresh), granola and yoghurts, breads and pastries and a self-service coffee/tea machine! The food at the hotel was excellent quality, too. We didn’t do the fine dining but did eat at the hotel lounge bar 4 times during our stay and every time was incredible and so tasty! The staff were wonderful and greeted everyone with respect. They were happy to recommend walks, talk to you about local things to do or recommend other restaurants. Our room was spacious and very well designed. It was cleaned every day to a high standard. We asked for some softer pillows as the ones we had were too firm for us and they were happy yo help. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Grindelwald. It is a 10 minute walk to Grindelwald Terminal and a 15 minute walk to Grindelwald village (but please note it is up a steep hill). A wonderful stay - thank you!

Stayed at the Glacier Express appartement and had the most wonderful time. The ski terminal was only a 5 min. walk whilst we had the view of the mountains. After a long ski day we could relax in the sun on the balcony or in the sauna of the apartment.
