The hotel staffs are nice and the services are great! They provided a free city transportation pass and also upgraded our room to the mountain view!

A little bit outside of the village but the views don't get better than that. The Panorama is amazing. Amenities are basic but clean, staff is nice. Good coffee and tea at breakfast. I would say that the view just makes the stay incredible as the Eiger north face is literally on top of you.

Good solid product for a relatively modest price. Rooms are functional and clean. The last major building overhaul dates back a while and the revival of the bar would be a good idea. Friendly service, good breakfast in reasonable proximity to the centre of Grindelwald. Bus stop around the corner.

Rooms were clean but mattresses were not really comfortable. The rooms on the main street were not well isolated - you could hear everything from the next room and the track cleaning the street at early morning. In addition to that, one person from the staff knocked on our door at 8:30 to tell us that breakfast was ready: really nice of him, but we did not appreciate it cause he woke us up - please don`t do it again with other customers! The guy at the reception was really kind and changed our room with one on the back of the building, which was really quite and nice. Breakfast was ok - not much choice and food did not look fresh.. I called the reception the day of check in to ask for gluten free bread and they told me it was too late for it for the day after, but that they would have provided it for the following day. They actually didn`t, and when I asked they told me "there`s not - can you eat yours??" (cause I had mine in my hands but it was supposed to be for my lunch, not for a breakfast that I already paid!).

Wir haben spät gebucht und das verfügbare Angebot an Zimmern war an einem Wochenende in der Hochsaison sehr beschränkt. Wir haben zu unserer Freude noch ein Zimmer erhalten und alles hat wie abgemacht bestens geklappt (Zusatzbett im Zimmer, Parkplatz reserviert). Also dürfen wir uns nicht beklagen, insbesondere weil die Sauberkeit sehr gut, das Bett bequem und das Bad gross waren. Alles klappte bestens wie vereinbart. Die Einrichtung war etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wirklich enttäuscht waren wir über die Aussicht an eine hohe Wand und eine rostige Schubkarre direkt vor dem Zimmer für einen doch recht stolzen Preis, insbesondere weil wir eine Aussicht auf den Eiger oder zumindest das nächste Haus erwartet hätten. Auch das Flair entsprach eher einem Stadthotel in London als einem Berghotel in Grindelwald.

Wir waren eine Nacht das und sehr zufrieden. Die Zimmer waren sauber, die Betten bequem. Das Hotel ist 10 Gehminuten vom Zentrum Grindelwald entfernt und deshalb angenehm ruhig gelegen. Wir hatten einen tollen Ausblick auf die Eiger Nordwand und Richtung Gletscherschlucht.

Passé une nuit ici. Décoration, mobilier et salle de bain vieillot mais de qualité et très propre. Beau buffet de petit déjeuner, croissants frais excellents (pas du précuit réchauffé).
