ザ ニュー ミディ(The New Midi)

This is a very nice hotel, located close to the lake, restaurants and Old Town Geneva. We were very happy with the location and professionalism of the staff. The room, bathroom and bed were small, as is typical of many hotels in Europe. Our chief disappoin**ent was that although the hotel is advertised as having air conditioning, it was not turned on in the hotel even though it was late May. We base our hotel choice on whether or not it has A/C, so we were not pleased that it was not available during our stay. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay at The New Midi.

Highly recommended. Everything is excellent from the staff to the room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room is clean and spacious.

Nice stay for 3 nights in this hotel. Comfortable bed and room kept clean. Hotel is located perfectly in the city within walking distance to most places. Only downside was the housekeeping knocking and opening the door multiple times a day even with the DnD sign on the door.

The hotel is well situated in the city. It is a beautiful hotel with a very good service and friendly staffs. The rooms are very clean and nice. The breakfast is adequate and the hours are very convenient. I have enjoyed my stay there! If I were to come back to Geneva, I would probably stay there again.

I travel often to Geneva and always stay at the New Midi. Not a 5-star, but clean and adequate, very friendly staff. Excellent location, good but basic rooms, inexpensive. Overall this is a great value, particularly because of its location, from where you can walk anywhere.

Very little evidence of green policies. No notices about reusing towels and sheets. No opportunity for recycling products within the hotel. Hotel was comfortable and in a great position.

A little gem right in the centre of town. Renovated 10 years ago the hotel remains fresh and clean. The staff were fantastic, the room was comfortable and clean, the water pressure high but the highlight was the collection of art and sculptures of the proprietor, uniquely eclectic and eccentric in the spirit of the Negresco Nice, perhaps. Will definitely stay again.

Excellent location along the lake and great value. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Easy walk from the train station and can see the lake from the property. Great location.
