The view from the window is very nice. The staff are very nice as well. But the room suffers from the noise from other rooms. If people come back late or wake up early you can hear their movements and talks. I was waked up in the early morning. But what more you can expect in this price.

Description had twin bed, in practice it was a single bed. Men's shared bathroom lock was broken. No soap in shared shower. You can hear every single thing the people in rooms next to you are doing. Breakfast was OK. Parking is convenient.

If you're curious about what a basic hotel was like a century ago, this is the place. It has all the charm: squeaky and shaky floors and doors, one toilet and one shower at the end of the corridor for all occupants, no soap dispenser in the shower, stained bed sheets. If not, look elsewhere.

Alpina is a wonderfully warm and cozy property. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is terrific. Beds are comfortable and shower strong and hot! We would definitely stay here again.

This is an older property in the Alps.. At first it was odd to me how the business worked.. My room was upstairs above the kitchen and dining area.. A sink in bedroom..I personally could not get tv to work.. My dinner and breakfast was great.. And the lady who served me both that night and morning was very nice and helpful.. The place is old and the floors creeked but it reminded me of my childhood and was a bit nostalgic.. No bathroom in rooms.. This would be my only complaint.. toilet and shower area is shared by other few guests thst might be staying.. That said tho they was clean and modern and seemed taken care of properly.. But for a price that wont break budget like the bigger ski places, the place was perfect for my needs..

I picked the budget version, so it was bit budget with shared bathroom and toilet...but that was okay, as In stayed just for sleeping. very welcoming place and excellent location for lots of trips in the area. So beautiful region! Plenty of space for free parking. Restaurant downstairs was okay and tasty. Liked the service with a smile!

L'hôtel est très bien. Il est très bien placé sur un axe principal avec évidemment un peu de bruit. Ma femme est tombée malade pendant le séjour et nous avons du repartir plus rapidement et ils nous ont remboursé la nuit non utilisée. Encore merci pour ce geste commercial très apprécié.

Wir waren mit dem Motorrad auf der Durchfahrt, wollten aber den Grimsel-Pass etc. aufgrund der abendlichen Uhrzeit nicht mehr fahren. Daher haben wir spontan eine Unterkunft gesucht. Zuerst waren wir in Meiringen - der Ort ist unverschämt teuer! So sind wir weiter gefahren, haben am Hotel Alpina das Schild "Zimmer frei" gesehen und haben nachgefragt. Unser Zimmer war schon in die Jahre gekommen; die Dusche und Toilette liegen auf der Etage, Waschbecken ist im Zimmer - es war aber alles super sauber und gepflegt. Der Boden knarrt, hat uns aber nicht gestört. Das Motorrad konnten wir in Sichtweite abstellen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut - alles vorhanden (Buffet trotz weniger Gäste) und die Leute im Hotel sind sehr nett. Wir haben dort auch zu Abend gegessen (Nudeln und hausgemachter Nußkuchen) - es war sehr gut. Insgesamt ist das Hotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt zu empfehlen. Wir würden hier auch wieder übernachten.
