Nice hotel with great spa and gym facilities. Good possibilities to walk or run in nice areas outside the hotel. Walking distance to the city center. Overall a good hotel and I will for sure stay at this hotel again in future.

It was very expensive for only 1 night. Out of 4 pillow cases, 3 were turned inside out. The room phone didn't work for calling the front desk. The shower was dirty. They were doing construction next to my room and they never informed about it. Very noisy! The restaurant staff was totally ignorant. Never asked if I wanted dessert or anything more to drink. They just ignored me. I can not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We have stayed at the Scandic over Christmas for 10 years to visit family. This year, we received some of the friendliest service from Emisa at the front desk. She set a bright tone for the holiday! We will definitely be back again next year.

A very nice hotell close to shopping and good restaurants. The hotell has bikes you can borrow, took just a few minutes to get to the sea. Breakfast was really good. Rooms where very fresh and the beds really soft and comfortable.

Trevlig personal. Hotellets standard under all kritik. Inget kylskåp, ingen aircondition, obefintlig ljudisolering mot gatan. Hål i badrumsdörren. Inga badrumsartiklar förutom tvål och schampo. Hål i sängöverdrag. Väldigt litet rum. Kommer inte tillbaka!

In a way the hotel is cosy, but the very expensive room rate (275 €/night for a family room is robbery) did not meet our expectations. We understand that you pay for the summer period, but the price is not in line with what you get. Breakfast was good, welcoming in reception was poor, neither informative or welcoming. We didn’t ’t feel we got value for the money, so next visit in beautiful Halmstad area is considered carefully considering hotel premises.

Good room, great breakfast and super we were allowed to have our expensive bicycles in the room. In my experience Scandic is always a good place to stay especially when you’re bike packing, they are very helpful to find a place you can lock your bikes in to.

Staff makes sure that you have everything you need, great rooms, lovely breakfast and good options for dinner. Room was lovely facing river. Breakfast had a wide variaty of items and the service during the whole stay was awesome. A home away from home.

Wonderful city Halmstad. Bath, shopping,eating, all near and the hotel in the middle of towncentre. Good parking avaliable. Recommend this hotel and summercity highly. We will return .. Have a good stay !
