Great place to stay if you are visiting Yala National Park. Very new and well maintained facilities with the team of professional warmly welcomes you.

Our stay at the Hilton Yala was a delight. The service was outstanding - our needs were met at all stages. We enjoyed our treatment at the spa which was one of the most beautiful settings I have seen - nestled amongst the rocks within the national park. The food was wonderful although the wine list was a bit quirky! The safari was led by an incredibly knowledgeable and capable team. We sailed past the queues of trucks waiting for entry to the national park and our guide and driver spotted wildlife apparently before anyone else. Our guide had the answers to all our questions! I would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful hotel.

Our experience was exceptional @ Hilton Yala Resort. Food, Services and facilities were next level. General Manager Githanjali was very helpful and professional. Our next visit will not be too long.

When you drive up to the entrance of Hilton you’ll be greeted by the most beautiful smiling faces of the team who are eager to make your experience amazing! The property situated in a national park is so well conceptualized. Initially you’ll be captured by the property, the views and the aesthetic but as time goes you’ll see that it’s actually the team there that takes your experience to a top notch level! Gitanjali, the GM constantly checked in with us and considering it was a big holiday for Sri Lankans, she was constantly available and stayed there for her guests and staff. She truly runs the place by leading by example. Jerome, the executive chef and his team of chefs he has trained are making some of the most amazing food with the locally sourced ingredients. Every meal we had, he checked in with us to make sure our restrictions were addressed and we enjoyed the meal. His food has a flare of Sri Lanka but also some homely feel to it that gets you excited for your next meal in the restaurant. Vino, Hashini, Kenny, Pravin, Anuradha, the buggy boys, to the security manager and many more that I’m not sure of the names; each of the staff members went above and beyond during our stay. Weather it was our wait staff or the boy who knocked at my door to tell me there is an elephant on the property as I’d really wanted to see one if it came; every team member there makes your stay exceptional I’m not the one to write such reviews, probably one of the few times that a stay has come home with us and yes to an extent it’s the property and the place, but beyond that it’s the people that have made this place so memorable and the experience we have there beyond our expectations. We will definitely be going back sooner than planned and we would highly recommend Hilton Yala as your stay.

Wonderful stay in serene atmosphere. Calm and quiet, our pool villa was exceptional with good maintenance daily. The main area around lobby was amazing and lovely views of the ocean . The restaurants were nice with decent food menu , though more elaborate menu is possible with more variety! Jungle safari was decent experience and we enjoyed sunny and rainy weather during our stay! All staff were forthcoming and eager to help and cordial! The GM Miss Geetanjali was cordial and polite , so was the main Chef who made sure we get some tailor made dishes during our stay! All in all wonderful time ! Will plan to be back with friends!

We just spent a week, my wife and I, and we fully enjoyed the hotel, the setting, the friendliness of the staff, the room, the architecture, the F&B... Of course, on top of this, it is nicely and conveniently located inside the Yala reserve and we could enjoy a Safari trip every day. Only one thing we missed a bit was some walking around but it could actually be organised if we had made a very early start in the morning. Otherwise during the day it becomes quite hot. All in all a fantastic stay! A special thanks to our guide Pazi Amarasinghe who made our daily safaris a fantastic experience.

Our stay at Hilton YALA was incredible! The private pool was a highlight, offering total relaxation with stunning views. The resort's proximity to YALA National Park made our safari adventure convenient and unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and the food was delicious under Jerome’s supervision and his amazing team. Our room was spacious and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. We highly recommend Hilton YALA for anyone looking for a luxurious getaway with the added excitement of wildlife encounters. Five stars all the way!

Wonderful place and wonderful service. The pool and the ground are just stunning, the hotel is brand new so the rooms have the most updated facilities. The food was also very good and surprisingly fairly priced. Would have not expected such quality of a Hilton chain, but this was simply perfect. The only recommendation I would make is that considering that outside of safaris and lounging by the pool there is not a lot to do, it would be great to organize for instance walking tours. The guests are not allowed to explore the beach for instance without a ranger but rangers are typically not available. Outside of this, everything was perfect and I will definitely go again.

We can confidently say that this was by far the best stay we have experienced. As a hotel hilton was amazing with the food, service, special requests , luxury and comfort. What made it memorable was the safari experience with the Hilton rangers. We were lucky to have spent 2 days with saijith the head ranger. He made sure we experience safari in a true way by keeping us away from the crowd. Regardless of how many animals we spotted during the 2 safaris we did with him, we got ample time with each of the animals (tuskers, leapord eg) and those sights will stay in our minds forever. The team is highly professional and knowledgeable. Hilton is special property, it doesn't have fences or gates and has an elephant corridor in between ,in 2 days out of 3 we were there, elephant was spotted inside the hotel. What we liked was how chill they were with animals and they made sure that guests do not disturb or bother these creatures if spotted. We have to thank Vino From the hilton team who helped up planning our 4 day stay here. We appreciate the manager geetanjali who checked on us every day. Talk about personalised service and experience , hilton had it all. We were also amazed to see the number of families here with kids. We ourselves were travelling with our 8 yr old son who enjoyed every moment here. Every positive comment we read about this place whether on trip advisor or any other blog is all true. And we were so glad that we chose this hotel over any other and we could not have had it any other way.
