Signature Stay Inn & Suites - Downtown Hamilton

I booked online choosing a queen accessible room since I am travelling with an injured veteran. Stairs are difficult for him. We found out that our room was on the second floor. No elevators. He made it up but not easily. I had to drag our suit case and a bag up each step for two flights. Then we get into our room and it’s not an accessible room. I talked to the front desk who while I was making my concerns cut me off repeatedly. Nothing could be done. I decided to shower to find out we didn’t have a washcloth, bath mat, hand towels, & 2 medium sized towels. So my husband decided a cup of coffee would be nice. Although there is a coffee machine. There wasn’t any coffee/tea nor cups. I complained again and same thing happened he just cut me off stating they were doing renovations. Which there wasn’t any signs of that whatsoever. As for coffee I could go down the street to the coffee shop. Feeling dismissed I decided we could watch some tv: the channel changer didn’t work. You could turn it on from the tv itself but not control it. The phone has missing buttons and dirty. At least the bed was cleaned and we did perform the bed bug test. Nothing showed thank goodness! Never come to this hotel!! No recommendation from me!

This is NOT a hotel. It is a DUMP full of criminal activity!!!! They are ripping people off, they will not refund money when guests have legitimate safety concerns about the street people coming and going from this establishment. IT NEEDS TO GET SHUT DOWN !!!!! STAY AWAY !!!!!!! O Add photos

There was no heat on in the room. It was very cold outside. The room started to feel warm after 3 hours. The hot water in the shower was on a timer…a short timer. The tap came off in my hand. You could not get any channel at all on the TV, you need to bring your fire stick or log into your own account. The room was clean though.

I would highly discourage anyone from staying here They charged my husbands CC 9 days before we got there. Their reasoning was, so that we wouldn't cancel. There was hair on the shower walls, greasy finger prints on the shower curtain. Noticeable dirt in the corner of the bathroom, toilet was poorly cleaned. One towel, hand towel and face cloth, for my husband and I. It was like pulling teeth, trying to get towels for our 2 days. Our TV also did not work, no cable box. Three flimsy pillows, stains on the sheets and white towel. Water left in the ice bucket, perhaps from the previous guest. No room service. They raised their prices to $400 per night. $1200 total, for that??? What a joke. Never again, beware of this Hotel formally known as Days Inn

We paid a premium price for our room because it was grey cup. The knob to turn the shower on and off came off in our hands, there was a hole in the ceiling where the bathroom fan would be and one of the lights was burned out over the bathroom mirror. We stayed for 3 nights and never once received any housekeeping services or clean towels. We had to go down every morning to beg for coffee for the coffee maker in our room. We were walking distance to downtown, the room was reasonably clean and our beds weren’t too bad. Be aware that there’s no elevator, so if you’re female, be prepared to lug suitcases up two flights of stairs. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

This is the most disgusting hotel I've ever been to. Rooms had broken beds and furniture, stained walls and carpets, cockroach infested and no toilet paper. No hot breakfast or any breakfast at all. When we complained to front desk we were told the manager would give us a refund in the morning. Manager never showed up and refused to speak to me. Called for days and emailed with no response. No refund was given. They are thieves. Finally made a complaint with BBB. DO NOT STAY HERE.

We checked in at 9pm. 0:15 get to room. Disgusting. The tables were clearly dirty. White residue on side table as of ***** were done on it. The ice bucket had melted water from previous ppl. Back board had some sort of white bodily fluids sprayed on head board. Tv not working. Not even a full roll of toilet paper. They did mot have complimentary Buffett as website stated. I was told we would be refunded for the hotel room plus $30 pet fee which I am still yet to receive from the manager as well as an apology. Conveniently, he is never available when I called the hotel. Don’t give your business to this dump. Gross!!
