Super 8 by Wyndham Hancock MD

Bed made a lot of noise. Then when I went out to get something from my car. A man undressed with the curtains wide opened was starrng at me. Very creepy. I turned my head away. I only noticed as I was walking back to enter the foyer. It was hard not to miss, cuz it was 1st or 2 nd window to entrance. Not at all happy. I should of complained ,but decided to let it go. Creeper.

The staff here were very good. The rooms however left a lot to be desired. I found a bug on my pillow. On top of the fitted sheet were some small, hard black things that could have been bugs or rat turds. The bathroom was gross. The sink was a sunken sink and there was mold around the rim of the porcelain part of the sink. There was mold in the caulk that went around the edge of the bathtub. I will say the shower curtain looked brand new. The bottom of the shower sunk in when I stepped on it. I was afraid I was going to fall through the shower floor. The window locks were PVC pipe in the window track. I was all around disappointed with the place. I would not suggest staying here.

Outdated hotel, very loud air conditioner, peeling paint, lumpy bed, less than adequate breakfast, terrible coffee, door stuck so loud to open and pull.

The Super8 in Hancock exceeded my expectations for a budget overnight stay (Berkeley Springs WV was my destination). With that said, it's not super fancy, but I could tell that there have been efforts to upgrade (with some ways to go). There were ample hooks and hangers, the single queen room was spacious. I found that the nicest touch was the dimmable nightstand light, both for winding down, and in the early morning. The young man who checked me in was thorough and friendly. I paid $15 for an early check in, and got a nap in. The sheets / towels were clean. The only thing I felt missing was a box of Tissues. I was comfortable enough and actually got some shut-eye before an early departure.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was spotless and bed comfortable. Fridge didn’t work and breakfast

The hotel had virtually no breakfast but sweets. Room was older not worth the 80.00. Staff were ok though.

Parking was right there in front of our room. Room was clean. Although the bed covering and the blanket had holes in each. Clean, but the place looks like an update would make the place feel more inviting. The bed was comfortable and staff was full of jokes!!

The room smells strange, although seems clean. The breakfast - we came at 8:30, knowing it is until 9 am, and there was nothing left. I got coffee but it is awful and i didn't finish it. Plenty of parking, and located conveniently near the highway.
