We loved our stay at the Canopy by Hilton in Hangzhou.
We arrived at 15.30 but needed to wait 30 minutes for the room to be ready.
The room is fantastic, really stylish and clean. All staff in the hotel were very helpful and attentive, especially the cleaning team.
We really enjoyed the free cocktail available in the bar in the evening, this was a great touch!
The staff were accommodating about leaving our car in the car park until 8pm.
The only fault in the whole experience was breakfast.y wife and I both ordered from the A La carte menu and my wife ordered noodles and I ordered eggs. My wife’s noodles arrived in 5 minutes and my eggs took nearly 40 minutes. Naturally we were frustrated and the staff explained this was because they were waiting for other egg orders to be able to cook together in a batch. This is not how breakfast service works because I wanted to enjoy breakfast together with my wife and to get out and enjoy Hangzhou as soon as possible. This is especially frustrating when the restaurant was not busy as we arrived early at 7am.
