Excellent room, everything was clean and tidy, very cosy plus super location. In the heart of the village amongst lovely tea rooms and good places for dinner, especially La Trattoria which was exceptional. First class breakfast set us up for the day, big thanks to Carol.

Took our Granddaughter to Helmsley for a pre return to school treat & stayed in 2 of the 3 Garden Cottages at Stilworth House. The rooms were lovely, cosy & spotlessly clean, with everything you would need including a small fridge which contained a lidded glass jug of water & the fresh milk for our tea/coffee. A plus for keeping our own drinks & chocolate chilled. Carol was great as the host & breakfast was fab & the home made jam & marmalade should be marketed !! A recently installed glass tank in the garden showing off the carp was a lovely & calmimg feature. Will definitely be back.

Stilworth house B/B Is just a bit of Paradise in Helmsley. The B/B is just a very special place Rooms are Not big rooms but are fitted with quality furniture. And the work perfectly and are spotless Breakfast is just lovely we'll cooked and service again is fantastic nothing is to much trouble for Carol and Frank. And the Koi Carp incredible its like have a therapy session. Will be back hopefully many times. It's just a short walk into Helmsley Town Square. Had Steak pie in Oak wow. And La trattoria food was some of best we have had. But back to Stilworth house if your looking for this type of accommodation Look no more 10/10 ++++ Martyn and Ruth Thank you

Excellent location and parking and close to the town centre. Good quality ingredients at breakfast. Comfortable clean beds and quiet rooms. Carol the host is so welcoming and helpful. A lovely 2 night stay in Helmsley.

An excellent B&B very clean and cosy, excellent hosts perfectly situated in Helmsley many thanks to Carol and Frank. The pubs particularly The Feathers and the Black Swan the Italian and the brewery are excellent

Simply a great place to stay! The accommodation is not in the house but in what I assume to have been out outbuildings completely self contained and open to the hosts garden where you can view their koi carp. Carol the host is funny, knowledgeable and very welcoming and made our first trip to Helmsley memorable for all the right reasons. A good variety offered for breakfast of good quality. We loved Helmsley and will definitely return and stay with Carol.
