ラディソン レッド ヘルシンキ(Radisson Red Helsinki)

早餐很不錯，裏中央車站很近！

The hotel was a lovely stay BUT when checking in the receptionist told us that we had breakfast included, from being told this we decided to wake up a little earlier the next morning to have breakfast in the hotel. We passed over our room number to the lady signing in for breakfast who told us to go ahead. My cousin had got a bowl of cereal and sat down to eat whilst I was getting some fruit. As I was heading to the table the lady came over and said that we did not have breakfast included. I kindly explained that we were told by the receptionist the day prior that we had breakfast included and that we weren’t fussed so wouldn’t have had it if it wasn’t. She said it must’ve been a communication issue, that reception “just didn’t tell them” we had breakfast included and that it was okay to eat. I have now been charged £28.20 for 2 breakfasts. We were not worried about having breakfast as we were planning on having food in airport before our flight home. It was not communicated to me at all that this would be charged from my account and I am very unhappy that I have been charged without a reply to my email concerning the matter! The receptionist and the staff at breakfast gave us false information and now I am £30 out of pocket for 2 small breakfasts still with no contact back from the hotel about this. I am furious!

Unfortunately we did not get the room we reserved and paid for. When we contacted customer service about this, we did not get any answer. So we did not get any refund. This is not behaviour what one might expect from hotel at this category. Sadly not very good star for this new hotel.

My first work visit to Helsinki and what a great City! I decided to pick the Radisson Red as the price was really affordable compared to other hotels (and every penny saving counts) and a perfect location next to Central station and the Metro! The hotel is only 3 weeks old and it’s pristine! I hope they can keep it this way! The staff are lovely, will always help and are friendly. The hotel facilities are perfect for both business and leisure guests! Lots of stores and coffee shops etc. close by should you want to wander out. The lobby is super relaxed, with comfy seating to either relax, socialise or work from (which I did). There is background music so it’s not dull and boring. It has a simple restaurant menu, the food was fantastic and even has some great healthy options (which is rare these days!) My ONLY bit of feedback was I was sat there for ages waiting for table service, but actually it’s more casual and you order from the bar. Once I noticed this after 20 minutes service and food was fast despite it being a little busy. Maybe a sign at the top of the steps to advise customers its an order at the bar service? The bedrooms are very chill, cosy and comfortable - absolutely spotless and modern! Even has USB & C charger points at the side of the bed so a travel plug wasn’t needed. Lots of mirrors and 3 levels of lighting! I had a great nights sleep which is what you want in a hotel! Lovely view of the park as well! I can’t comment on breakfast, I booked it but enjoyed my sleep too much so had nespresso in the room (great touch) and strolled to a nearby coffee shop for breakfast. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! Every time I am back here this is my new ‘go to’!

This is one of the newest hotels to be added to the Radisson RED chain - and its superb. Centrally located withing 5 min walk from the central station so super easy for travelers arriving via Helsinki airport where there is a direct link to the city. Its also 5 min walk to the trams (very easy to navigate) and also the metro station. I'm a walker so tended to walk to all the main sites (Helsinki Cathedral / Port / Market Square / shopping / Russian cathedral / museums and galleries) which which are all withing 15/20 mins of the hotel. The hotel itself is super clean and very comfortable. The staff are amazing and I have to give a special mention to the reception team who made me feel very welcome. The reception area is spacious with a cosy bar and a restaurant section overlooking a park where breakfasts are served. There is a well equipped fitness room (even has boxing bags.....or whatever you call them) and, as this is Finland also has separate male and female saunas which would accommodate 4 or 5 people. My room was a standard room with a VERY VERY comfortable queen bed. Super clean, quiet .... and did I mention a very comfortable bed?! The room itself is a good size though you might want to opt for a slightly bigger room if there are 2 people traveling with large suitcases. A good size bathroom with walk in shower and good water pressure. In-room wifi also very good. There is a coffee / tea station in the room and a small desk. The room overlooked a park which could be viewed through the floor to ceiling windows. So - a 5* review from me and well deserve. I look forward to returning to Helsinki in the summer of '24 and will certainly be staying back at this hotel.

Small superior room, nice big windows are of no use becouse the next building is so close. Not very clean, rooms, interior decorations dull and looked cheapish. Music was very loud everywhere and even personnel was so loud. Restaurant acoustics horrible, i heard everything loud and clear around (hotel pr and staff meeting, interesting…)

Beautiful and clean hotel, excellent location (near railway station, tram stops and metro), friendly staff and great breakfast! Definietly will visit again! It’s all about the little things: free snacks by the reception, good coffee and tea selection in room, place for luggage in room…

High luxury! Corner room 6th floor must have been in heaven! Thank you Lotta at the front desk for delivering exceptional customer service! Finland is to the nines & RED is the cherry 🍒 on top!!!! I'll be back from The United States of America! Welcome to NATO dear Finland 🇫🇮💙🤍
