This morning the front desk clerk could be heard yelling at a guest for taking a plastic fork That are free with breakfast and they have a plastic fork bin that was empty. The door to our washroom would grind and leave wood shavings. The bathroom light. Stopped working. The room is clean and bright but there is some serious staffing issues. I was appalled at how this staff was talking to a guest, threatened to call the cops on her for taking a fork. It was awful.

This place knew how to put lipstick on a pig! Everything looks nice on the surface but it’s less desirable. You had to hold down on toilet handle to flush. There is a sliding door on the bathroom with zero privacy. The bed was horrible! It was broke down on one side and hard as a rock. The inner springs were broken and squeaked. The hall advertised ice and vending but the was a vacant spot where the machine used to sit. They tried for breakfast but served buttermilk biscuits with no gravy? There was a small portion of eggs and sausage. Otherwise cereal took it. No thanks! Very disappointed.

3 stars? Not a chance. Easily a 2 star "Fair" rating and I'm amazed at the 8 guest rating. Bathroom has no vent, so ceiling is cracking and covered in mildew. Toilet runs ntermittently every 20 minutes. Several cars sit idling outside with people sitting in them. Entire hallway is covered in garbage. Dirty inside room and have strange door that connects to another room, but has no functioning lock besides the emergency latch. Hopefully the person next door stays next door... I'm not the one to complain in person, rather I will forever take my business elsewhere. I advise you do the same.

Very well maintained and clean. For the price it's a great place. A bit of noise from the a/c and hallway.

In a good area with lots of stores, restaurants etc. The bed was VERY comfortable, the shower had good pressure and the room was clean. Breakfast was edible. Not enough lighting in the room.

overall a fine place to stay, clean room, comfortable bed and good internet, all things i require, TV is important to me and my wife, selection of channels , not very good, tv was very good, HOWEVER, the remote looked like something from the 70s and did not work unless you really really punched and pushed to get a channel to come up. not a good thing, the room and bathroom very clean, however !! again. the hot water in the tub, for a nice hot shower or bath, no,, did not happen, did get luke warm, i got a bath, but we will not be coming back to this wingate ,, there are so many hotels in the area, of course you will spend 20-30 dollars more, but go ahead and do it. IF you are a couple or family , if i was traveling by myself, sure its a nice place, and the people working there were very nice

Everything was clean and comfortable. Lots of options for breakfast and we loved the pancake printer! This was just a quick stop for sleep, showers, and breakfast before driving further; but it was great for what we needed. I’d definitely come back for a quick night or a longer stay.

We stayed for one night on our way home from New Orleans. Great deal for a small rate. Good location. Nice to have breakfast included. However, cigarette smoke smell in the room. Had we stayed longer, we would have asked for a different room.

Comfortable rooms. Enjoyed our stay. The hall areas needed vacuuming but I know many places are short- staffed.
