Room dirty. Dusty floors and skirting. The walls had been painted around the TV and headboard. Cracks in the ceiling which had been painted over. Stains on the throw on the bed possibly blood? Reported this via email and reception and have still not received a reply.

The hotel was lovely, staff were very helpful. They only thing we got frustrated with is noisy people coming back to their rooms, don’t have a thought for others. But that’s not hotels fault.

Great hotel in a central location, very nice staff. Recommended if you are staying in Hereford.

Very well located within a short walk of Hereford Cathedral. Hotel has a lot of character and is also comfortable.

Booked in January, rang to enquire about parking and if hotel had lift as we are slightly disabled. Receptionist said there is a lift and we were in room 238, 2nd floor near the lift, front of hotel. On arrival we were given room 120, first floor, back of hotel, which was as far from the lift as was possible. We queried this but were told we were definitely in room 120. Very disappointing. Room was adequate but not sure how it qualified as a Superior room. Hardly room to walk round the bed, shower over bath unsuitable for many people as bath is high and nowhere to hold on to.

A decent hotel for a short stay. The room was a like a sauna when I got to it and was amazed to find a small electric heater plugged in and switched on. This made the room so hot and stuffy that I had to open a window - far from environmentally friendly! Otherwise - the bathroom was a bit tired but the rest of the room was ok. Breakfast was decent and staff accommodated my requests for something not on the usual menu.

Terrible stay. Rude receptionists. Extra charges given without notifying, terrible customer service

Heating not working electric rad in room, old fashioned shower over bath hard to access. Dark green paint on every damn wall no photos or prints on walls just boring Uncomfortable chairs. Security lights kept coming on in the night lit the windows brightly! All in all not relaxing place! And small incorrect loo seat fitted far that was too small for the pan! A poor replacement not to a high standard.?this place is run down.

Excellently located hotel, car park close by and convenient for my business meeting. I didn't have breakfast but the restaurant served good food in the evening.
