Marriott's Harbour Club

This was our second time staying at this Marriott and we again enjoyed our stay. Our week coincided with Tropical Storm Debby and the staff were wonderful in helping us make the best of what was a very wet few days at the start of the week. Kudos to all of them for being so attentive and helpful. We enjoy the location of this Marriott as it’s in easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants in the Harbor and just a short bike ride away from the Sea Pines Beach Club.

Spent the week over Christmas at Harbour Club and was a great location being able to walk across the street to Harbour Town restaurants and shops was perfect. Walking and biking in Sea Pines was also great. Our villa was top floor and had an amazing view but looking at the placement of the building not all are so lucky. Villa was older but kept in good shape and was very comfortable for the week. No, it's not on the beach there are other Marriott vacation clubs on HHI for that if that's what you want but the location in Harbour Town is the best.

Stayed in 2 bedroom suite. Layout was comfortable. Amenities were good (pool / spa, bbq area). Location was in proximity to LightHouse area. However, customer service was very poor. Front-Desk representative didn't really respond to inquiries. The resort publishes an activity sheet, but front-desk seemed "too busy" to be bothered. Took about 1 hr. to rent some bikes. Gave incorrect information on two occasions. Checkout was long (1/2 hr) and rep. was not able to generate a receipt.

My family and I had an overall pleasant experience here! The rooms were clean and had been recently renovated. The staff was very friendly. However; there were two things I think the resorts should address immediately: 1. The resort’s website states there is a hot tub/whirlpool on site but there is not. There were temporary fences around where the whirlpool had been removed from the ground. I felt this was misleading. 2. The resort gym was the size of a closet (not exaggerating) and was poorly maintained. It was frequently used by myself and other guests, but only one person could fit in the gym conformably at a given time. This resulted in having to wait and return to the gym once clear. At the bare minimum, management should have the walls painted, ceiling fixed, and burnt out light bulbs replaced. See photos attached to this review.

We enjoyed our stay here. Our villa was super spacious and up to date with everything we needed as a family to enjoy preparing breakfast and sometimes dinner in our villa. - might be the most spacious Marriott we’ve ever stayed at. The pool though small was perfect for an afternoon or evening dip after returning from the beach on our bicycles. The resort staff were super friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. I’d give it five stars if it weren’t for the fact that some of the resort amenities are limited compared to other Marriott properties. The location across from Harbor Town was great.

This is a lovely older and well maintained resort. The location is great as it is within walking distance of the lighthouse and all of the shops and restaurants in Harbor Town. The front desk staff and concierge team were great and extremely helpful and friendly. This would be a five star resort if only our room had a wonderful view. Our view was of an interior courtyard. We would definitely stay here again.

My family of five had a great Thanksgiving week here! Great location within Sea Pines and we were able to bike all over the area. It was a tad chilly during our week, so, not too much beach time this year—although, it was fun riding our bikes getting there. Very laid back place, and not a lot of activity at the resort. Everyone we interacted with was very helpful and welcoming. We will be back!

Tried to rent bikes for the day. Staying at and own 2 other MVC resorts on HHI. For many years I have rented bikes at Harbour club and charged them back to resort were I was staying. Told could not do that and they (front desk and front desk manager) would not take cash or charge card. Is Harbour club so well off financially they can spurn $ 120. General manger never returned call
