You get what you pay for! Basic accommodations albeit clean. SMALL cramped bathroom/shower. Nice kitchen but limited dishware.

Nice room with a deck, from which we saw the northern lights. Proximity to Jokulsarlon was the biggest factor for us to book there. Nearby guesthouse has restaurant, where we had a nice dinner. Shared bathrooms is the only drawback of this particular property

The lady that helped us at checkin was so friendly. Room was clean and comfortable and the scenery around the property was beautiful. I read a review that there was one outlet in the room and it was 6 feet up the wall, that wasn’t our experience. We had outlets right on top of the bedside table on both sides. We didn’t use the kitchen area as we got there late and left early. The only recommendation I would make would be to add black out blinds. It was light at 5am and our room was bright. Other than that everything was great! Would recommend for sure.

Very close to glaciers. Loved separate cabin. Friendly and helpful staff that was willing to wait for our late check in. Oh, and we had 2 private waterfalls coming out of the mountains behind us…how can you beat that?

Terrible experience. We were tired from driving and they made us drive 5 minutes past the guesthouse to their restaurant to get a lock code which they could have simply sent it via email to us, then drive back to the house. As I arrived the door was being held close with a chair because there wasn’t a lock, the place was very noisy, the doors were stuck and loud. One of the 2 toilets upstairs was out of order who knows for how long -I could tell because of the tape. Do not stay here unless it’s your last option.

This stay was only okay. The room was very tight for two people with luggage, there were no blackout curtains (with over 20 hours of daylight in summer), it was very difficult to find the guesthouse, and it was the nosiest stay I’ve had in Iceland. The only positive was we did a glacier hike that was connected with the hotel and it was fantastic. Overall I would not stay here again.

This stay was lovely and the room was clean. We could see and hear the waterfall right out the window. The shared bathrooms were never a problem.

Do take note that checking in is another place from the location itself. Everything else was pretty self serving.

The staff were extremely helpful, and although our reserved room was not available, they were gracious and accommodating. I highly recommend this property--the rooms were clean and comfortable, the service was warm and friendly.
