Hotel Højbysø

Crowd was playing music and singing in the hall next to our room in the middle of the night (22:00-24:00). Much noise in the hallway also, partly because of the loud locks on the room doors. The walls were paper thin. The hallway and the rooms smelled quite musty. Bathroom in the room was very tiny but it was okay. Didn’t get warm water in the morning from the tap. The breakfast was very poor, only bread and eggs which were raw. All in all can’t recommend.

My sister and I were in the area for my nephew’s wedding. Although we had rented a house for the event, we found that it was not conducive for “ladies” to get dressed for a wedding. So we decided to give the house to my nephew and his groomsmen for them to stay at. We scouted around for a hotel room, which we knew was going to be difficult as there was a music fair going on at the same time. Fortunately, we were able to book a room for one night at the hotel. This was such a great experience. The room was spacious, extremely comfortable, very clean, and everyone was extremely efficient and effective and friendly. Thankfully, we were able to extend the room for an extra day, as they had a cancellation. We were thrilled.
