Love everything about it. Great location, right on the beautiful beach, easy check-in and out, lovely room, will definitely stay again.

The lack of enough beach towels each day was an issue & having a full length mirror in the hallway entrance would have been great. Other than that everything was wonderful!

It was obvious that this was no longer an Opal resort. We specified a first floor room and was put on the second floor. The pool towels were not restocked during the day. The TV was very difficult to figure out - all we wanted was to find major channels like ABC. Most of the service staff did not speak English and could not communicate. The furniture, woodwork, doors etc in the 2nd floor rooms were worn and needed refurbishing. We have never considered staying anywhere else, but were disappointed this time.

This is not a resort. It is a motel on the beach. We paid over $1000 a night for what was supposed to be a beach front room with no view of the beach. We literally got the worst room in the house and complaints fell on unsympathetic ears. The shower control was missing. The seal for the shower door was falling off and the bathroom is like a phone booth. Lack of pool towels because guests hoard them. Non-guests using the loungers and umbrellas on the beach and even a non-guest woman with a dog at their only picnic table with no one in sight to enforce their policies. Be aware, this resort offers $100 a day day passes, meaning you may not have the facilities YOU paid $1000 a night for. Your only food options are a vending machine with Saran wrapped sandwiches and Pringles. This place does not deserve Marriott resort pricing. What few restaurants there are on the island don't take reservations during peak times, and there is over a 2 hour wait for walk ups. There are simply not enough restaurants for the number of AirB&Bs and hotels. We ended up going inland and still had to wait 30 minutes. Imagine spending $1000 a night for a beach front room and missing the sunset because there was no place to eat near your "resort." As for the island, to call it charming and rustic is a compliment. It's really tacky and low class and way overburdened. It has a nice beach and would be a good day trip, but forget about staying here.

Beds were comfortable nice layout in the room for a big family grounds were beautiful but we couldn't find hotel staff half the time if we need anything like for our situation the key stopped working and we need another key and we had to wait long time before we can get that completed most of that time there was not an available staff that we could find

Great location and zero edge pool was perfect for kids. Loved watching the sunsets. Didn’t love that it wasn’t easy to find beach towels each day. Would stay again.

Hats off to the staff who were very kind, attentive and welcoming. Very attentive to ours and everyone's needs/requests....biggest complaint has nothing to do with staff or really much of anyone's fault, but the location waa a bit isolated from stores, shopping, restaurants, etc - basically nothing within walking distance. However, the trade off is a beautiful beach location and well maintained establishment. As long as you have a golf cart for your trip, that changes everything, as you can get to most anything you might need, within a 5 minute trip. But overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Anna Maria Beach Resort. Great pool and hot tub, we also reserved their cabanas for a couple days, and those were very nice/enjoyable. I would certainly consider staying here again in the future.

Its incredible that at $800 per night rate you wouldn’t have any beach/pool towel.We were told to use the bathroom ones so if we use those then after taking a shower what will happen??? This place is over rated and for sure with that price-benefits im not a returning customer for sure.
