ウッドフォード ブリッジ カントリー クラブ(Woodford Bridge Country Club)

I always try and book a pre Xmas stay somewhere, with my children . I came across Woodford Bridge on a booking site , and it seemed to offer great value for money so I thought why not. There are some positives and negatives which I ll list below. Arrived on a dark and gloomy Tues evening, the roads are not particularly great , potholes galore in the area. In the dark its quite scary roads too, in the middle of nowhere !! Check in was straightforward, nice friendly staff , however I found they have a tendency to talk amongst themselves and leave you waiting for too long before saying " can I help you "? Apar**ent was very clean , modern and warm. Incredibly happy with the size of it. Easy location to the games room for my boys, which they enjoyed very much, the pool table and table tennis. However the lighting is not great around the steps , and also the warning paint on edges of steps have worn off , so I had to be very careful walking back to apt in the dark. Used swimming facilities , nice , clean , quiet . The other facilities looked good . Went to the pub on site one night. Lovely little place , although totally devoid of a**osphere, hopefully better at weekend when live music on. They definitely need something. Prices of wine extortionate 175ml for 7.25 . I had to contact reception as the seal around the oven was coming off, did this in the morning before we went to atlantic village. On our return it was still hanging off, so had to contact reception again. Although I really liked the apt , there are a couple of improvements needed I feel. Firstly I could not find a chopping board or fish slice in the kitchen. As a single female with 2 children I also did nt feel safe as the apts can be accessed by anyone , there needs to be a key card reader on the entrance to the block , not just the apt door. Overall , it was a nice enough stay but I Don t think we d return. Probably much nicer in the Summer , and more going on in the area

A time share complex selling rooms available on an ad hoc basis. Apar**ent had a good kitchen, dining are, lounge, separate bedroom and bathroom. Leisure facilities excellent. Location in the middle of very scenic countryside lovely but a drive to nearest town. Room needed a refreshing coat of paint but did not impinge on our stay. Restaurant, bar and small farm shop on site at acceptable cost. Staff very helpful, efficient and friendly.

Great place and lovely location. We were very surprised by how lovely the apar**ent was the facilities. Great indoor pool and swimming facilities.

Amazing value for money so much space, a bit dated in places, couldnt get any food while i was there, my room had a over powering smell of when indians have obviously used it before me, shame because facilities were better then expected

Lovely stay wish we had some extra towels or provided separate towels for swimming, dining table was broken but otherwise lovely will definitely visit again.

Leisure facilities let this place fown, house itself was great, clean,warm plenty of hotwater and spacious. Leisure was either not working or very cold . Lots of building works going on around too

The country club was really nice, I got a free upgrade to an apar**ent due to renovations taking place, however, their restaurant was also being renovated so there was nowhere to eat or unwind due to being so far away from everything. The staff were really nice and welcoming and the apar**ent was pretty nice however it was very dated. The biggest downside is getting to the country club, lots of dirt roads, and quite a few roads were closed in the near area so it was extremely difficult to navigate and actually get to the country club, lots of tight squeezes to let tractors past. Other than that my stay was okay, I probably would stay again if I had access to breakfast and the restaurant instead of having to dive 35 mins to the closets superstore.

This club is very well priced and I really like the accommodation here. I feel they will have a big job on there hands to keep it up to scratch as I think maintaining this place will cost quite a bit of money but it is lovely here.

Lovely place, fully functional. A little secluded for my preference. The facilties such as swimming and gym/sauna etc are quite limited in opening times, so couldnt attend. Some of the rooms were a little tired, but perfe tly acceptable.
