Casa de Emdeko 338 Condo

The Casa De Emdeko 323 is located conveniently close to the main area of Kona but far enough away that's not too busy or noisey. The very spacious unit had everything we needed including a washer/dryer (not in all units) and other items such as an ice chest and a snorkel set. We really enjoyed the view. The complex had their own beach/sand area as there is no ocean swimming in the area. We enjoyed several sunsets there. We enjoyed several ocean activities, in particular snorkeling with the manta rays. There's a beach on the other side of the Kamehameha Hotel that we enjoyed. It's call the Keikie Beach Queen’s Bath and has very calm water. We loved canoeing to the snorkel site in Kealakekua Bay. The canoe ride was perhaps 30 minutes, the day was perfect. We arrived early - earlier than some of the larger boats that started further away. We got all the snorkel time we wanted. They would have waited longer if we had wanted to snorkel more. Highly recommended.

I wanted to tell you how much my husband and I enjoyed staying at Casa DeEmdeko 221, part of a condominium complex managed by Kona Coast Vacations. We had everything we needed to be very comfortable during our stay on the big island. When we arrived, the unit was very clean, and all the instructions we were given were clear. The property itself was very beautiful and it made you feel like you were truly Oceanside by the way the saltwater pool was set up. In the evenings, we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets visible from the property. Inside the condo we had all the essentials to be very comfortable. The unit itself is nicely located at the end of the building and very near to the laundry and the parking. As someone who likes to cook, I was very pleased to see that the pots and pans and knives were high-quality. There are a couple of kitchen essentials that are missing though , I would like to see a vegetable peeler and a wire whisk because those are things that most everyone uses all the time. I very much appreciated the plentiful dishes, both in breakable and unbreakable! This was handy when you wanted to eat outside. The lanai  was very well equipped with comfortable chairs and a high top that would seat four people. There was a common area with tables and grills for everyone to use and also a comfortable lobby with books and puzzles that could be borrowed.Overall, I would give this unit a very high rating, and I feel that it was a good value for the money.
