Food was great - shame the service staff weren’t. We had a table 6 and had to ask three times to have our table cleared of dirty plates - we got sick of asking so we moved to an empty clean table. Saw other people in the restaurant clear their own plates to an empty table because none of the waiters were clearing the tables and they were tired of waiting. My seat was facing the kitchen and I saw the wait staff spend the majority of their time talking amongst themselves rather than clearing tables or making sure the customers were ok. Would not recommend this place if you like good service!!!

I know it’s basic but waiting for 10mins for the water in the shower to heat up is a bit of a stretch. Good parking & bistro/bar area. Food good. However The staff were so uninterested it was boarding on extremely rude. I get everyone has long shifts in hospitality I’ve done this job in my younger years. But when you have to go on a mission to find someone to serve you at the bar well, that’s just rude. Not only myself but most customers waited patiently for some sort of service. And forget the smile or usual chit chat these bar staff are beyond trying to please anyone.

Wentworth is an older style hotel with 3 metre high ceiling rooms, great period decor, well maintained premises.
Located conveniently opposite Flemington Markets on Parramatta Road Homebush it has good facilities. Restaurant, Gaming and Bars with large screens for multiple sports chanels, laundry and car parking.

My Room 9 had an unusable chest of draws. There was no table to make coffee/tea. Great hotel to visit and eat, but not to stay. But I guess you get what you pay.
