The Cottage/Annex is ideal for all who need to escape from the hustle and bustle of life, with great walks on your door step and wonderful views over Horsham as you drive in. You can’t beat the healing nature and we often see deer in the fields/woodland at the rear of the property.The annex is located on a elevated hill side location with amazing views over Horsham from the grounds. Comfortably furnished with leather 3 seater sofa and 2 seater sofa , there is a flat screen TV should it be needed with Satellite channels including movies and sports , giving plenty of channels to choose from. Wifi is very fast at 80meg with fibre to the property so no problem with video calls or working from home.Note that there is a small four seat fold out dining table and four seats at the breakfast bar.Shower room: large walk in Wet room style shower cubicle, with white sanitary ware. This is a secure car park with electric gates.Other things to noteEV Charging.The owners of the main house have a 32amp three phase fast charger and it would be possible upon request to charge your car onsite, there is also access to outdoor plug sockets for 10amp standard plug sockets for trickle charging, The cost of EV charging isn’t included in your stay and if you wish to charge onside then additional fees at cost price for electric would need to be paid. The 32amp socket is a type 2 tesla style charging port that can charge up to 60 miles per hour if you have a compatible lead/car. The Chailey apartment is in such a lovely spot, right in the middle of the West Sussex countryside. It’s on the historic Walden Hall grounds, and guests can wander through its own ancient woodland and even have private access to the South Downs link. It’s a really stylish one-bedroom place, ideal for couples or a small family looking to get away to the country.When you walk in, there’s a comfy living area and a kitchenette that’s fully equipped with everything you’d need, like a hob, a Panasonic microwave, all the usual utensils, and even a cute retro Galanz fridge. The sofa’s very comfy too and can be turned into a second double bed if needed, plus there’s a TV and dining area. The bedroom is lovely and bright with a premium memory foam mattress and plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom is modern, with both a bath and shower and all the usual essentials. WiFi is free and fast throughout. The guest quarters are right next to a heated swimming pool that guests can book if they fancy a dipThere’s loads to do around Walden Hall, whether you fancy soaking up the countryside or exploring the local area. The Downs Link Trail is right on the doorstep - you can actually access it directly from the site - and it’s perfect for a scenic walk or bike ride. If you're up for more nature, there's the Warnham Nature Reserve not far away, which is really peaceful and full of lovely walking trails and wildlife. Southwater Country Park and Leith Hill are just a short drive away too, great for a family day out, or a quiet picnic spot. For something a bit more cultural, Horsham’s not far at all. You can catch a film or a live show at The Capitol Theatre, or pop into the Horsham Museum and Art Gallery. There’s loads of interesting local history and art to see. If you’re into ancient history, Bignor Roman Villa is worth a visit too, with its incredible mosaics and ruins.
