マウンテン・ビュー・ホープ・モーテル(Mountain View Hope Motel)

We ended up being the last couple to check in at 7pm, out of the 15 rooms, so we got a 2 bedroom suite. Check-in was fast and the room was clean.

It was adequate. You get what you pay for, and it was a place to lay our heads. Room was in the process of being renovated, so for the most part very clean but much more work needed to be done. Fridge and microwave and kettle were new. Gas stove was scary so did not use it. Bathroom beautifully renovated with marble walls and floor, but no hand-hold or anti-slip mat in tub, so could be dangerous for anyone unstable on their feet. Bed was comfortable. Again, still needs more work and if done well, it will be a very nice room. Staff member was very pleasant although there was a bit of a language barrier. Would probably find a different place to stay next time.

Really comfortable beds, all the extra amenities of a chain and more!! Large TVs. A really classy hidden gem in Hope. I wouldn't stay elsewhere in the region. Extremely good value.

Coming from Banf we had no choice but to stay here, chose it based on reviews but it’s an overrated little motel, not too happy about paying $179. For one night. I think it’s over priced by at least 50-70$. Every thing is ok and well but not 8.9/10 rating! Some efforts were misplaced, for example who uses a full size fridge or a full size stove? Instead why not fix the bathroom sun whic is held up by a towel rack? 6 or 6.5/10
