Was great for whole family , grandparents , parents and baby even the dog 🐶 , hot tub great , well stocked kitchen , vey clean and furniture high standard for a holiday let , had fun at the pitch and putt and walked down to the golf club bar terrace also friendly , lovely pub 3 min drive away the kings head .

Our family of 4 stayed for 2 nights in the 2 bed lodge with hot tub. Upon first impressions everything was great, as expected. The lodge was enormous yet cosy with high ceilings and large rooms, heating was on for when we arrived which was really pleasant as our stay aligned with some miserable and cold weather (which didn’t stop us using the hot tub). We had an issue on our first night which caused us a lot of concern, but after contacting the team through email it was swiftly resolved, and we received a very thoughtful apology and resolution which is why I have chosen not to mention the exact circumstances. Had our first night gone smoothly I would have offered 5* feedback, had the issue not been resolved I would have left 1*. Thankfully the service and communication of the lodges team was very efficient which is why I’ve given a 3* overall. The gentleman who water tested the hot tub was extremely polite and very friendly, he was very helpful during our stay.

We have just returned from a fantastic weekend, we stayed in a two bed lodge with hot tub and everything was first class. The communication from the company was excellent and we will definitely return. The location is good and I fully recommend a visit

Cabins are spaced a good distance from each other . Lovely and quiet. We have been going there for years but feel the cabins could do with updating. E g. We stayed in lodge 8 nine years ago and it had the same cushions and curtains and leather sofa. These are looking very faded. The electric log fire in the lounge wasn’t working. Despite this I would still go again because it’s so peaceful

This is the third week that I have stayed. Customer service is poor, there is no can do attitude. For the final week we were in lodge 2, this is tired. Seal loose in the oven, neither toilet fixed to the floor, shower mouldy at the bottom. Plus on Tuesday most of a pleasant day of weather spoilt with loud strimming.

20 excellent lodges next to the golf course. We were in lodge 10. The only negative is that lodges 10 and 11 are next to a fairly busy route to the management office. You can walk to the city centre in 50 minutes and Waitrose in 45, both walks safe and pleasant

Over the years we have stayed here 7 times, this weekend we had 2 cabins next to each other for birthday celebrations The cabins are light and spacious and always immaculately clean throughout with everything you need inside. Each cabin is well placed so you have privacy in the hot tub We have taken the dogs a few times and the verrander has a gate so they can't escape and there is some nice walks to do nearby with them. My husband and son love the little putting green in the middle of the cabins Can't fault anything and will be back to stay again

Visited the lodges with a special friend and elderly disabled father. Nothing was too much trouble .The team were welcoming ,polite and friendly, were at the door within minutes when we needed some assistance. The site was peaceful,secluded,loads of wildlife and owls to keep us entertained. A discount at the surrounding golf course clubhouse was most welcome. The lodge was immaculate, warm and cosy during a pretty cold snap. Everything you could need was there,plus a very welcome tray of goodies. Thank you to the team for a wonderful stay.

Weekend away with the girls as a bit of a break. Property was stunning, clean and perfect what we required. Nice little welcome pack of tea, coffee, crisps, biscuits, fresh mill etc, was an a nice little touch. All rooms were in excellent condition and nice and clean. Excellent size towels. Hot tub was lovely and was able to relax in a nice calming environment
