AC Hotel by Marriott Ipoh

房間的裝修味道非常重，要求開窗被拒絕、説提供空氣凈化器。但是打了三次電話都沒送來。直到我退房也沒見到空氣凈化器。 服務響應不僅慢、電話打了一直沒人接。而且打通了也很沒打通一樣沒有任何的反應。 早餐很簡單跟三星級酒店差不多吧。 衞生沒見過萬豪繫有這麼差的，地上都是污跡。簡直了….比住民宿還要差，600多一晚上的酒店。這個水準真的是無語。

I stayed at this hotel with my family, including an infant. Since I was traveling with an infant, cleanliness—especially the floor—is extremely important to me. Sadly, this hotel did not meet basic cleanliness expectations. There was a lot of hair on the floor from previous guests. I did call the front desk to request housekeeping to clean the room, but nothing was done after that. Honestly, it was disappointing. The bathroom was even worse. The pipe was leaking.  In terms of amenities, they only provided a toothbrush and one other basic item. For a hotel at this level, I really didn’t expect such minimal amenities. I was surprised that they only gave us one toothbrush when it was clearly a room for two people. On a positive note, breakfast was a pleasant experience. While the variety wasn’t extensive, it was more than enough for a family, including my child. The staff at breakfast were also extremely helpful—they even gave us a kid’s set and helped clean up after my child finished eating. That made the experience feel a bit more family-friendly. Check-out was fast and smooth. However, check-in was a bit slow as they said the room wasn’t ready, even though I arrived at 2PM (check-in policy is 3PM). I would have appreciated it if they had shown more consideration, especially since I had a baby with me. There was also no baby cot or any baby-related facility offered. All in all, if you can find a cheaper hotel, it might be a better value—this one felt just average, nothing special. There was no game room or other family-friendly facilities besides a basic swimming pool. For a hotel marketed at this level, it was pretty underwhelming. On the bright side, the location is great—just walking distance to Ipoh Parade Mall, which was very convenient.

The lounge on level 2 is way too bright. However, the executive lounge on level 10, as seen in the picture below, is more conducive but was not opened to all. So we had no where to hang around except the pubs infront of hotel.

空調聲音很吵，新裝修味很濃，辦入住辦了一個半小時，等到團友們爬在桌子睡了，一個多小時沒有提供茶水任何服務，攜程協商退了部分錢，第二天趕行程沒拍空調聲音如果拍了真的不想付費又累又不能睡還吸了一個晚上的裝修昧

As what I said earlier, be aware and alert for those who chose it because my relative daughter has experienced harassment by the room keeper during our stays and the hotel manager just drag the investigation until the day we check out only told us that the room keeper has been fired verbally without any proof. Their service totally poor.

We had a higher expectations before arriving at AC Marriott as this is the only few 4-5 stars hotel in Ipoh. To our utter surprised it is a poorly managed property with understaffed concierge, demotivated front desk staff, sub standard room amenities and room amenities poorly finished. Wake up Marriott!!
