Great price for a great place. Our room was spotless. The reception is at the restaurant, so be sure to get what you want before they close at 11pm.

Visited as a one off as was in the area with family for a drink and spot of lunch. Thoroughly impressed with the attentive service from the staff here unfortunately didn’t catch the names. The drinks was very refreshing and the food was very filling for the money you pay, was cooked deliciously.

Another nice stay. Chose the continental breakfast option which was good. I will return next year for another two week stay. Large comfortable room with good T.V. Located within walking distance of the town center and railway station and a riverside path.

Visited with my partner for food and a drink. We had a lovely time. Good drinks selection, Excellent food and wonderful customer service. We were looked after by Michael who was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

went this evening for dinner with my Family. Our waitress Emily was extremely kind and welcoming, and made helpful recommendations about what meal we might enjoy. The food was affordable and has an authentic pub feel. Overall, the staff were very kind and helpful.

Lunch time treat, had the chicken ultimate burger! Better than a tower from kfc banging. Nice girl called Erin served us seemed a bit shy to talk to us about giving a review. She should be more confident she was smashing it. Restaurant was daily busy and we didn’t wait to be served or receive our food. Too notch I’d say!!

Great breakfast excellent value and lovely friendly service - Michael was super helpful with my son who stuggles and ensured to make sure there was only the things he wanted to eat on his breakfast All staff verbally were so welcoming and we really enjoyed ourselves

Great Family lunch whilst visiting family in Suffolk!! Food was great off the Carvery, the beef was especially good. Service was very polite and with a smile Pub was clean and tidy with lots space in the car park! Highly recommended if you are in area.

We came for a meal here today and have had excellent food with excellent service, particularly George, our server, who has been helpful, friendly and fun! It's a comfortable and a good atmosphere. We found it easily so it's a great location; saving a trip into the centre.

Food was great with Ryan and his team produced some excellent meals during our stay. Room was basic, better than lots of the big hotels, which is what the price you pay for just a couple of nights for a room. Did lack a few things like extra chair in room, but cleaned and tidied everyday, with tea,coffee and milk replaced daily. Well done to all the staff working there to make our visit worth coming back again. For the money well worth a visit and Ipswich centre just a short walk away.

Room booked for three people, one child. Only 2 teabags, no water or juice for child. Had to ring 5 times for any help. Pillows look lovely til you lay on them and yr head practically touches the mattress. Mould in bath, toilet roll holder broken off. Dead spiders in corner. Only towels for 2 people. Wont go back, just awful
