We enjoyed our two nights there, and should have scheduled longer! Thanks Peggy and Dudley for your hospitality for letting our friend Finn stay in cottage #4. Loved our gourmet boxed breakfasts and WOW to your chef…! Chef Crockett; you are absolutely a credit to Hope and Glory.

Exceptional stay and dinner. We have been going to Hope and Glory and eating at The Collanade for 8 years and the service and quality of food is always exceptional. Meseret is the best. Her crab cakes are the best we have ever had anywhere. The staff for both the inn and the Collonade are always friendlly and accomodating. We look forward to our next visit.

Hope and Glory Inn was a perfect spot for celebrating our special anniversary. The cottage was very comfortable, the pool and grounds were inviting, the hosts and staff were special. The location is a perfect, low-key spot to enjoy a time out of the mainstream. A memorable stay there, no doubt, to be repeated.

The Hope and Glory Inn is the place to stay when visiting in the Irvington vicinity. We have stayed there more than once, and I can't imagine we would stay anywhere else when in the area. Peggy and Dudley, the owners, and Heather, their assistant, make you feel like you're part of the family the entire time you're there. The rooms are very comfortable. We have stayed in both the rooms and the cottages and recommend both. While there, having a meal prepared by Chef Meseret in their restaurant, the Colonnade, is more than a meal; it is an experience, and one that should not be missed.

Our stay at Hope & Glory B&B was absolutely wonderful! This was our second time here, and it was just as delightful as the first. Our cottage was perfect for a girls’ weekend, cozy and beautifully appointed. Heather’s attention to detail made our stay even more special; she ensured we had everything we needed, including delicious mocktails. Chef Meseret prepared an amazing dinner, and the crab cakes were to die for. Peggy is the perfect host, making us feel right at home. We will definitely be back!

We weren’t sure what to expect when we booked this Inn. After making the initial reservation, I needed to call because it appeared that our credit card did not go through. I called, and spoke with Peggy and, when they say “First Impressions count” it is the absolute truth! Peggy was wonderful to speak with and, I hung up with a very nice feeling about our upcoming stay. This Inn is a gem in the Northern Neck!! Our accommodation was a beautiful cottage- very private and very comfortable! Added bonus - the “picnic” breakfast! Absolutely fabulous!! We stayed for 4 nights and each morning, the “picnic” breakfast was beyond expectation. They will deliver it to your room/cottage, you can enjoy it at one of the many tables in the courtyard, or, as we did - you can sit in the dining room. Peggy outdoes herself with each new meal! This was truly one of the nicest Inns we have stayed in throughout our travels! Thank you, Peggy & Dudley for your true dedication and hard work to make the Hope and Glory Inn a memorable experience!

Hosts and staff are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The dinners they prepare are truly outstanding. Rooms are pleasant, lovely gardens, even a pool to cool off. Beautiful town and area, relaxing, low key, plenty of choices of things to see and do for a long weekend or quiet midweek visit

Thanks to Peggy, Dudley, and Heather, my wife and I had an excellent stay at Hope and Glory Inn to celebrate her birthday. They truly made her birthday a special memory. The James Suite provided perfect accommodations for our two-night stay. We really enjoyed the morning breakfast picnic basket as it gave us flexibility on when and where we ate. We appreciated that the Inn was within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and a museum in quaint Irvington. It was convenient for exploring other Northern Neck towns such as Kilmarnock, Christ Church, and Reedville.

What a great place to get away and unplug! Very private little cottages …. Where Peggy Dudley and Heather pamper you with everything to make your visit ! From the salt water pool, to the romantic outdoor tub and shower… to the speakeasy bar called “Detention” … not to mention the gourmet breakfast brought to our room every morning!! This is our second trip there, but definitely won’t be our last! Love this place…. So many great places to eat around there!! I highly recommend it! Jim & Tammy
