ヴィラ エレナ イスラ ムヘーレス(Villa Elena)

We have stayed here before and plan to stay again. The location is close to most everything. It is very clean and has everything you need for a stay on the island. It isn’t fancy. The bed is very very comfortable. The staff is very nice and friendly. The view from our room was amazing. My only real complaint is that it can be noisy depending on who is staying there. Sound carries well. The other is that there is no direct access to the malecón. Neither are enough to keep us from staying again.

Exceptional stay. Staff were amazing. Check in a breeze. Room was massive with the most amazing waterfront deck (suite 5). Property and room were so clean and well cared for. The location!!! was the best! just a short walk in to Centro with beachs, restaurants, bars. Super cute coffee shop (with morning yoga) just 1 minute down the road. Coffee was exceptional. We onlt nbooked two nights here as this was somewhat last minute and we were dissapointed that we had to leave.

I liked that this place is within walking distance from the ferry station and that you don't need to turn on the A/C at night, just leave the balcony door open. The owners are very friendly and the room was very comfortable. The bed maybe too soft for my taste, but I would definitely go back!

We were fortunate to stay in Suite 5 and enjoyed a stunning view and a very comfortable bed. The kitchen facilities are very basic which worked for our purposes. the location is very walkable to town and beaches and having afternoon shade on the deck was welcoming. All of the staff we interacted with were very helpful.

Villa Elena is a lovely, clean, 5 room hotel. Two of the suites are beautiful ocean views, to clarify from a previous review. The two ocean view suites are large, bed was very comfortable & great pillows. There is only a sheet on the bed but we were able to get a blanket when we asked for one. The A/C worked great. We had a couple of meals I cooked in the room, which was convenient. Jasmine kept our room clean & she was very sweet. Wilbur & Clara are great hosts & communication was on point. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you all for a wonderful stay at Villa Elena!

These pictures are very deceptive, do not stay here only one room has these sights and view. The rest are small and doors are thin and hear everyone. You get 3 keys, one for front door, one for room, and one for a 5 inch by 5 inch safe. Hot water does not work, air works good but you get one thin sheet. The area it is in is not very pleasant and there is no security or no one on site at night. I was booked for 4 nights, stayed one and had to leave and recieved no refund after several requests for a refund thru the manager and priceline, no refund. I have traveled far and wide and would never stay here again for $100 a night there are much much nicer rooms. This room was worth $30-40 a night.

Beautiful view, clean bare-basics room, friendly staff, close to downtown. Cold showers and minimal bedding (a blanket would be nice) kind of ruined the experience a bit. My husband got the only “warm” shower during our entire stay. It wasn’t awful, but I don’t think I’d stay here again.

We loved this spot for the amenities and close to all downtown. Close to bus route, bank and ferry. Maid service was fantastic and clean. We felt very safe! Our only issue we experienced was the bed! It was so soft we rolled into each other each night and woke up with sore backs. Otherwise a awesome spot to stay!! Just get a new mattress

Arrived here and the room was adequate. Nothing luxury but big and clean. The views from the patio/balcony where over the top. First night we couldn't get the TV to connect to Netflix. After hours of trying we decided to take a bath and go to bed. Oh no! No hot water. It's late by this time so cold shower it is for me. We contact the owner who sends someone out to help. By midnight, we had hot water. The next day, we find out we didn't have the remote to make the Netflix work and after that no problems. There is a family next door with a dog who liked to play football at all hours of the night but I found it cute and enjoyable but maybe annoying if you wanted to rest. The room is in walking distance of many things but on a back street so it feels secluded. I would return but the tv was so small (40inch) and the bed was unbearably uncomfortable but that view may draw me back in!
