Love the location and all the available activities! Pool, ocean, bikes, paddle boards and kayaks were amazing. Staff super friendly and helpful

The room was a bit dirty, outdated and the plumbing was loose and leaky! Furniture scratched and old! Bathroom window didn’t lock, little scary! They asked if they could get us anything but when I asked they couldn’t deliver either so I had to go out to get simple hotel items that are usually readily available in room service or front desk! The pool was freezing and there was no bar available and the bar kitchen was sketchy. The whole scene/vibe craved a better manager and team of professionals! The morning we checked out, the sign on the window door claimed front desk opened at 7:30 or 8 am I can’t be certain now and I was there and waited and no one showed up, even an employee walked up and turned around and walked away, said nothing! I texted a few times the usual way that they corresponded, but that too came to a halt. I guess we were leaving so no need to complete our stay with pleasantries. We went to the sister resort to swim and have cocktails. La Siesta has beautiful grounds and beach though! But the price/night was robbery, we will pay the prices, that being said, we too have travel expectations from our experiences! We do wish them well!

Beautiful views. I wish the pool was heated! It was too cold for us adults, but not too cold for the kids (we went over Christmas). Paddleboard & kayak rentals were awesome!! Not much on the property in terms of dining/drinks. Small poolside cafe that is intermittently staffed. Housekeeping came intermittently as well, but we were there over Christmas so I assumed understaffing, but it didn’t really matter to us, as we didn’t spend much time in the room. Close to a lot of cool attractions like Theater of the Sea & shops, short drive to the Turtle Hospital. You have access to 2 other resorts, Amara Cay & Postcard Inn (we didn’t get to try it as it’s under renovation). Overall, I would return, our kids loved it!

Grounds were great, bed was comfortable Bugs in the first room and had to move. Second room was big, but an odd layout and one of the doors didn't lock, and only received maid service for one of four nights. Walls were also pretty thin. There wasn't a ton of occupancy, but you could hear most of the noise in nearby rooms.

Phone in the room did not work - texted for a shuttle and no reply. There are lights outside of the room hanging that should be pot lights. Staff block the door when we are trying to check out and did not move. The shower was dirty, and the bedsheets had sand in them before we even got in. A beautiful spot - but needs some other work.

One of the most beautiful hotels we have ever seen. Scenic from all angles. Clean and super friendly.

I wouldve given a 4 star, but ********** was neglectful in reminding customer that the weekend 12/8 to 12/10 there would be a marathon run , and La Siesta would be the start/finish race pt. I came to relax at a resort inn. Not deal with a 8a.m and 7a.m wakeup call respectively (both which started half hour earlier). What a nerve wrecking wakeup experience! Wonder if booked directly on LaSiesta, this info would've been repealed prior to reservation. I tried to relay this to **********, but there staff are insignificant puppets, who have no responsibility or say in how or how to change the reservation. ********** was no help. I will stop using them and close the account. Their BBB reviews is 1 out of 5, which coincides and reflects in how they help customers. I will say the value received for the room was not bad, but not 5 star. The blinds in my room were torn, allowinng light in a.m to shine thru, waking me. Also, ironically the mirror has a logo reminding folks of water conservation, but it had a constant drip. Hence 4 star! I would give La Siesta anither try, but ********** /******* no!

The room was good. Small bathroom. It was an event that the hotel didn’t advised us. Result, very early in the morning there was hundreds of people walking through the hotel beach (and through my window) also a very noisy music. Couldn’t enjoy the hotel amenities because of this,.. they allowed us to use their sister property (5 min away) but other experience… not nice 😔

So, I was pretty excited to stay here as I've stayed here in the past and it was great. This time was a bit different. We got there early at about 12:45 and our room wasn't ready. No big deal at all, check in isn't until 3. We were told that as soon as our room was ready they would call me. We came back at 3:00 and roamed around the grounds for a while waiting to get our room so we could change and use the facilities. Finally at 3:30 I went in to check and they said our room was ready and had been for a while. I asked why no one called and the new person at the desk had no idea I had even left a number to call. Next, we got in to our room and the toilet would not stop running and it was super loud. Again, no problem, I tried fixing it but couldn't so I immediately stopped at the desk to inform them. They said someone would be right up to fix it. No one ever came so again at 7:00 I told them and again, they said someone would be up while we went to dinner. Came back and it's still broke, now it's after 9:00 and we just wanted to go to bed. Toilet was so loud it kept waking us up. At checkout the next day I again told them and the response was "sorry about that, sign here for the $40 resort fee." Thanks. I fully expect this sort of thing at a $100 a night hotel but if I'm paying $500 a night, this shouldn't happen. Next time, I'm spending the extra $100 and staying at Cheeca Lodge. Service and accommodations are worth the little extra.
