Food was best I've had at a resort. Majority of people staying were local to Mexico and cook traditional Mexican food which is all outstanding but if you're looking for Americanized food you'll be disappointed. Most staff speak little English which may present some issue if no one in your party speaks Spanish. Overall my expectations were blown out of the water, really enjoyed the amazing staff, food, drinks and the rest! I was shocked to find Don Julio and Grey Goose among the liqour available to all inclusive and Indio, modello and Victoria among beer options. We'll be returning in the future. They have 3 pools, one adult only, one more geared to kids and an infinity pool overlooking a gorgeous view of the ocean. The hotel killed it in room placements with every room having an amazing view of the ocean from your room. You'd be hard pressed to find a better deal in the area, much higher quality than the sunscape nearby.

I love the sunsets as everyone was different. I did not enjoy the frustration of the lack of any English . There should be someone in the buffet, fine dining, front desk and room service that has a reasonable amount of English. Usually the adult pool is monitored by a lifeguard to control noise level of heavy drinkers. There were 2 days that we left the pool because of noisy drinkers. I have been going to Azul Grand for 8 years,two times a year and this was the most disappointed we ere.

Best service and beautiful hotel with amazing views. Definitely a beautiful place and recommend!

Everything was great food was good, rooms are really nice and taken care of! Service was also great, beautiful view of the Island Only con was if you would like to be allowed on property before 1:30 pm you have to pay an additional 700 pesos ($45) per person, they basically tell you to leave until 1:30pm or wait out in the hot weather. ******* did not state this extra charge or was I ever notified while booking

This is not a 5 star property and I am sure I paid much more than anyone staying there

My experience on this resort was unpleasant, i was lied to about how many lines of room internet would get if i upgraded to master suite was told 4 and only got 3. I reached out and was told to "ADJUST TO WHAT I GOT". I asked for a refund and to be moved to adown grade room i was told NO REFUNDS. My room smelled damp and of mold i was moved to aless smelling one. At the buffet where a lady was making made to order stir fry. I asked if she could make my Son ( autistic with food texture issues) just a chicken no veg stir fry and she said "No"....her coworker stepped in immediately and said make it for her. Well had i know she would give me a dirty look after that every time I was there i wouldn't have asked. She would make me wait when i was at her station even though there was noene else there. I WILL NEVER GO TO AZUL GRAND HOTEL...
