Vijan Mahal has great rooms and an excellent restaurant. Their 3rd floor rooms are very big, spacious, and well maintained. We had a rough start due to the extension work that is currently going on, but they soon rectified and made sure that the work didn't interfere with our comfort. Their restaurant is the best part. They have perhaps the most elaborate dinner buffet. Endless veg non veg starters with an equally elaborate main course & desserts. My compliments to chef Ashish Rana, who accommodated our request for coconut rice. Special mention of dahi lauki. All in all, food was 10/10 Room service 10/10 Value for money 10/10 I would have loved to give a 5 star but stopped short, as the open grounds of the hotel are currently in renovation stage and too much of wedding decoration stuff around

Addition of conditioner and moisturiser in washroom 2. Exhaust of smoking rooms are insufficient 3. WiFi should be more stronger and faster in era of 5G especially at night time

Excellent hospitality, especially mentioning Ms. Sonali Patel ( FOM ) of vijen mahal and other staff at reception, restaurant and room services and Housekeeping was great... Mahal rooms are Excellent.. Kids zone, gym & spa was great... One must stay here whenever you are planning for bhedaghat and Jabalpur trip with family and friends.. Will visit soon...

While returning back from Bandhavgarh via Jabalpur, we stayed overnight at Vijan Mahal on 30th May. This is literally a 5-star property. We stayed in room no. 460, which was Stylish Mini Suite. The room was combination of Bedroom and meeting area giving a good specular space & ambiance giving a feeling of being in the Suite Room. There was elegant space in washrooms with Jacuzzi and Shower area. There was working table and large windows. It would have been good if there were balcony to sit. The Staff at Reception was very helpful, they extended all necessary assistance during Check-in and Check-out, also provided us with packed breakfast as we left the hotel very early in the next morning to catch our flight. The hotel had organised Indian Food Festival during our stay. There were Thai, Chinese and Indian cuisine with drink at a very nominal price. The starter was unlimited and served on the table while main course was Buffet. There was various type of sweets as part of the desert. We enjoyed the food very much. The Hotel also had a mini play area for kids and my daughter enjoyed playing there. Overall, the stay was a wonderful experience, we would certainly like to go back to vijaan mahal during our next holiday to Jabalpur.

Good hotel and ambience ' we attended a wedding here experience is very good and very good option in jabalpur for a wedding destination, Restaurant is big and buffet spreaded was impressive , taste is good and variety & options you can choose, Decoration part is very good & attractive, all experience was good

This hotel is supposed to be one of the best hotels in Jabalpur which lacks any good 5 star chain. Booked this hotel on make my trip after 3 different people from their reservations gave me 3 different rates and we're quite abrupt and non helpful on the phone including the duty manager. The room given to us was away from the main building and one has to pass through many smelly corridors to reach the room. The room size was very good the bed was spacious. The furniture has a lot of wear and tear with all the paint etc chipped off. The bath section had hair strewn all over it and was clearly not cleaned properly. First time have seen a hotel with a wash basin in the bed room outside the toilet. The hotel is more of a marriage place all the rooms are on looking the garden where the marriages with blasting music happens. They should have different floors for their other guests who don't want the noise of the wedding and are just looking for some peace and quite . We didst get both. Even after requesting them they gave us a room which had the huge stadium kind of lights in front of our window. As a result our room was full of light Even after drawing the curtains. Most unhelpful managers and front office staff. ( saw them laughing behind us). Hotels shouldn't only think about weddings but guests comfort as a whole should be their top priority. Good part was the TV worked fine and we didn't get bored Rest the long walk to my room was a big dampener.
