コートヤード バイ マリオット ジャクソン(Courtyard Jackson Ridgeland)

This is an older Marriot. They are in the process of renovating though. Carpet was worn and stained but everything else was fine. Paid a bit less than I usually do for a Marriott, so it was worth it.

The staff was all very friendly but the room felt dirty with stained carpets and a leaking bathtub faucet.

If I could leave ZERO stars I would.. We stayed here one night on our way to Panama City. I booked a room with a king bed and pull out couch. The room was TINY. Seemed like it used to be an extra storage room that they converted to a hotel room. Our room was also HOT.. There was no AC in the hallway or the rooms on the third floor. We called the front desk at around 10 because we were crammed and HOT.. They thankfully moved us to a room on the first floor (but not without an attitude). This hotel should be ashamed… the pictures on the advertisement are misleading and this hotel is a WASTE of money!

my grandson and I checked in on a Sunday. The room's carpet had a large stain in the middle of the room & it smelled like mildew. i couldn't get the deadbolt to retract after it popped out so i couldn't close the door. i went downstairs to tell the manager at the desk he offered to change my room. he showed me two more rooms both with large stains on the carpets. He said they are about to do renovations so no carpets are being cleaned. he showed me another room carpet dirty but no large stains i decided to take it since he told me he didn't have time to show me another room and it looked and smelled better than the others. I left & came back later that evening and upon further inspection the room was dirty, only the beds were made, sticky stuff on the night table with cup ring stain, bathtub had ring around it and dirt in tub, dust everywhere. i stayed 3 nights asked for my room to be cleaned everyday it was finally cleaned the day before i checked out. and i only received 1 set of towels when there should have been 2. At checkout I voiced my dissatisfaction to the general manager she apologized and said they were cleaning carpets. I guess the manager, just chose to show me rooms that were in that condition. he was very rude as I spoke to the general manager making smart remarks and rolling his eyes. he was very unprofessional. don't know what i did to get on his bad side but the rest of the front desk/staff were very nice, professional and accommodating.

The property needs to be updated. Our carpet was fraying and torn and the bathroom had mold. The staff was friendly and the beds were good.

The property could have a little cleaner carpet needs to be removed or shampoo.

The rooms smells terrible like mildew or mold was in the first room we were in and when they moved us to another room you could still smell and unpleasant odor maybe from a leak in the bathroom or the air conditioner. I didn’t complain to anyone I just went and bought some Lysol Disinfectant Spray and suffered it out . I’m sorry I wasn’t pleased at all, but thankful that l had a place to stay while I was there in Jackson . Thank you for the provision and kindness !

Considering the Hotel under renovation from old to new it was pleasant!

All of the reasons we chose to stay here were in fact NOT available. Some things were simply misrepresented and other things were not functioning due to renovations we did not know about. We would have picked somewhere else if we had known the hotel actually did NOT offer what we were looking for. We should have been advised as such or at least offered a discounted price.
