イクアリア・ブティック(Equalia Boutique Hotel)

I travelled with my elderly parents and our stay at Equalia Boutique Hotel was wonderful. Its proximity to the ocean is brilliantly close, you can take a swim and within a few meters you're back to the hotel watching life pass you by on Jambiani beach. Walking along the beach in Jambiani is safe and whilst there are some people selling items, with a polite no thank you, they leave you alone. We enjoyed many long walks and we also saw the magnificent sunrises whilst we did our morning yoga on a few occasions. Breakfasts were included and were delicious comprising of fresh fruit, fresh juices, eggs, pancakes and bread. We also enjoyed the lunches and dinners, the seafood platter is divine as is the vegetable curry and rice. We also drank plenty of fresh coconut water, scooping out and eating the coconut flesh as well. The staff at the hotel were incredibly kind, helpful and fun to be around. There are plenty of excursions that can also be organised for you. We didn't hire a car but took taxis which were very easily booked through the hotel. Paje beach and restaurants are a 10 minute ride away and worth a visit, the beach there is also stunning. We spent a couple of afternoons idling our time at Mr Kahava's where the food is also good. Stone Town is 1.5 hrs away and definitely worth a visit. They management can also organise airport transfers upon arrival and departure. There is more I would like to have done during our stay, it just means we have to come back again and I'd definitely stay at Equalia Boutique Hotel without hesitation. The staff were amazing ! Always went out of their way to help and very friendly. The accommodation was everything we expected and more . The view was breathtaking, its literally on the beach ! Would definitely recommended. It was a lovely stay and the staff made it even better

Room amenities need to be improved. Paid for 4 nights but left after first night.

Very nice, clean and tasteful. No issues with feeling like the room is unclean at all and staff are helpful and polite. Very reasonable price for airport transfer. All good, great sea views and very good food. No hesitations in recommending this place at all. Wi-fi throughout too which is a real bonus.

We had an amazing time at Equalia Botique Hotel. We booked the seaview room with balcony and it was worth every Dollar. Beautiful view and a calm wind through the night so you can sleep without ventilation by comfortable temperature and the sound of the waves. We stayed 6 nights and liked it so much, that we even came back for another 3 nights after travelling around Zanzibar and Mafia Island. Mahmoud and Sylidyon were super friendly hosts, always there to help you if you need anything. Also the staff was always giving their best to make us enjoy our stay. Also the breakfast was great, giving a variation of egg, fruits, pancakes and fresh made juice every morning. Next time in Jambiani we will definetly come back to Equalia again.

I can suggest the is hotel for the amazing position, directly on the beach. Our room was basic, Nothing special, we had the room with a balcony but unfortunately was not in front of the sea. The bathroom very essential true. Teresa and Omar very kind of us, breakfast and dinner very good. In the morning early you hear the music from outside, it’s a pity and a bit noisy.

Nous sommes un couple et avons séjourné une semaine à l'hôtel. Celui-ci est très bien placé au coeur d'un village, donc une immersion pour voir comment vivent les gens là bas.Il y a même des petits commerces pour acheter des souvenirs à quelques minutes à pied. Concernant le personnel, ils sont très souriant, à l'écoute et prêts à vous servir, ils nous ont même gardé une chambre le dernier jour car nous partions le soir. Nous avons pris la chambre vue sur mer, comme sur les photos, la vue est juste magnifique, réveil avec le bruit des vagues le matin c'est magique. Chambre propre, décor simple, salle de bain basique, ce n'est pas un hôtel de luxe mais le minimum est fonctionnel. Petit déjeuner sympa avec des fruits et des crêpes, omelette, dîner très bon. Pour les points à revoir, c'est la lenteur du service à table, il faut parfois être patient, et la carte des desserts qui n'est pas respectée. Pas d'eau chaude pour la douche, et matelas pas adapté aux personnes ayant un poids fort. On a résolu le problème de bruit du réfrigérateur dans la chambre en retirant le plateau qui se trouvait au dessus.

Séjour très agréable. Un excellent rapport qualité prix pour profiter au mieux de la magnifique plage littéralement aux pieds de l’hôtel. La simplicité n’empêche pas la qualité. Petit déjeuner copieux permettant de partir tôt dans de longues balades sur la plage.
