Beautiful setting in mountains, along a river, surrounded by forest and farms. Nice area to walk in. Peaceful environment in which to read and write and relax.

Its a great place to stay in Jarabacoa, its comfortable and clean. They make you feel safe and greatly accomodated my baby.

I liked that it very very tranquil. And the restaurant food was delicious. I also like the wonderful river slow that flowed thru the hotel. Very relaxing hotel! Wonderful place indeed. Thanks

This hotel is so pretty, the views are amazing and the location is ideal because you're not in the smack dab middle of the town. The service is pretty good. We did not go during a busy season so anything we requested was done with speed and ease. We were free to explore everywhere and no one bothered us. They even allowed us to bring food from the outside and eat on their patio by the river and provided us with plates and cups, then even cleaned up after us which was very nice! I would definitely recommend Gran Jimenoa :)

Both nights the TV was not working. Broken bathroom tiles Ant infestation Critters running around the roof at night. All night long. Water coming up from floor. Then we were moved to another room with broken bathroom tiles Old old old chipping furniture Late breakfast buffet set up.

The rooms are nice but what made the experience extraordinary was the staff. Not enough words to express how amazing the entire staff was. From the front desk to the chambermaids, the waiters, and bellhops. Every single staff memeber was astounding.

The place was very clean, very nice. I will said that this hotel is better in person that in photos, it is very cozy, nice to stay and it feels very calm, the waterfall are beautiful and the restaurant is in the best place. In our visit, we didn’t see a lot people so it feels almost as a private place, and the service was excellent, everyone who works there treat us excellent. My only problem was that I saw a local being violent with a young girl, she was scare the bar saw everything and they did not do anything. I didn’t do anything bc if my boyfriend see that he will go and defend the girl and finish in a fight. I commented the situation to the bar at the next day and they said that their bosses said those kind of situation are fight between wife and husband, and for me this is disappointing and they should not allow this kind of behavior./ El hotel es hermoso, muy cálido para estar, el servicio fue maravilloso como las cascadas y la piscina, todo fue excelente excepto que nuestra primera noche vi un señor viejo mal tratando una jovencita y nadie hizo nada, yo no alerté a mi novio en ese momento porque es americano y abría ido a golpear ese hombre. Pero creo que el hotel si debió intervenir fue muy frustrante y preocupante que todos en el bar incluyendo el jefe se quedaron sin hacer nada. En la mañana se lo comenté a los trabajadores y me dijeron que los jefes del hotel solo dicen que eso es pleito entre marido y mujer es decir que apoyan ese tipo de conducta.

This was a short relaxing Birthday trip with my husband. The hotel was beautiful and more like a resort. The food at the restaurant wast delicious, and all of the staff were extremely nice and hospitable. I enjoyed my stay.
