This is an average hotel in a charmless part of Jerez 20 minutes walk from the old town. Service, breakfast and rooms are ok. I was particularly annoyed, having booked this hotel months in advance because it had a pool, to be advised 3 days before arrival (and just after the final non-refundable payment was charged) that the pool was ‘not operational’. When complained about not having been told of this, I was advised that they told me ‘as soon as we knew’. This was a lie, as I arrived at the hotel to find a huge construction site on the spot where the pool had been. It had clearly been dug up months before. Deceptive and unacceptable.

I was doing a driving trip of southern Spain and didn't know where I would end up the night I stayed at the Soho. The main attractions in town are the Royal Andalusian Horse Show and Sherry tours. I arrived just in time to catch the Show and searched online for hotels during the admission. The Soho was reasonably priced, walking distance from the Show and got decent reviews so I went for it. Boy, what a pleasant surprise. The room was large, tastefully decorated, nice bath, very comfortable bed, spotless and they even put chocolates on the pillow. I imagine this place goes for quite a bit more in high season, but in early October it was a bargain. I also lucked out, because I got the last remaining parking spot in their private lot. I think they only have 10 spaces. As it turned out there were some interesting sites within a reasonable walk and plenty of restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

Went there for a Argentine tango event. We slept in the hotel, danced in the building adjacent to the hotel. Nicely decorated interior. Friendly staff. Large rooms with comfortable beds. Extensive breakfast (not included but worthwile extra to take). Quiet neighbourhood (although when sleeping in the front the Irish Pub with courtyard might give some noise but not anymore after 12AM. 15mins walk from the towncentre. Interesting to know they have a private parking next to the hotel. Recommend.

Stayed here for a week. Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was large, we were given an upgrade and cleaned every day. Fresh towels daily. Breakfast was fantastic with a large selection which caters for everyone. Swimming pool was a great place to go for a swim after exploring the city.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely old building. Excellent location just a stroll into the wonderful old town. The hotel has its own car park which makes life easier. The rooms are large and decorated in line with the age of the building. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with a good shower and plenty of hot water and nice shower gel. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and efficient. We have stayed in other hotels in Jerez in the past but The Soho Boutique is definitely our favourite and we would not go anywhere else now.

Front of house very helpful Jose couldn’t do enough for us. First class. Location was fine just 10 minutes walk from the centre. Nice quiet area. Will definitely be going back for a relaxing long weekend. Rooms were clean and tidy nice comfortable bed. Breakfast was all you needed to set you up for exploring the town.
