84 on Fourth Guest House was wonderful place to stay! The guest house is tastefully decorated and instantly makes you feel at home. The family suite was clean, comfortable and spacious. The guesthouse is walking distance to Melville bars, restaurants, and shopping. Melville is a pretty neighborhood with tree lined streets. The morning breakfast was absolutely delicious and a great way to start the day. Meg's makes the best omelets! Zo was a delight to chat with and she gave us great recommendations on things to do and restaurants and even helped with booking a reservation. Zo and Meg's hospitality and warmth were the best part of staying at the guesthouse. We would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting Johannesburg!

We had a wonderful five night stay at 84 on 4th. The guest house is beautiful and we loved the lovely courtyard that the rooms are located off. Our room was really comfortable and had everything we needed. Location was brilliant - felt really safe and we loved exploring Melvilles cute coffee shops and bars, as well as being a great spot to explore the rest of johannesburg from. Staff were all so friendly and helpful, couldn't recommend enough.

A wonderful place, with exquisite decoration, extremely friendly staff and perfect location in Melville. The family suite with 2 bedrooms is perfect when traveling with children. We stay there anytime we pass by Joburg. The breakfast is also very generous with various choices.

Nice hoast. Worker Katz very helpfull. Delicious breakfast, omletes especially. Safe place. Shops and redtaurants are near. Just bed for the power reductions. The place had secure parking place. No musquitos in march😃

We felt very safe and welcomed here. The service was fantastic from the outset- the email correspondence was fast and helpful, the taxi transfer from the airport was reassuringly well organised and the Whatsapp correspondence before travel helped us be organised. The room was lovely, the breakfast fantastic, and the location worked well for us as the next street along had great restaurants and bars.

The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast in the morning. Comfortable Room. Melville shopping centre nearby about a 15 minute walk and area felt safe to me. Using uber is a good way to go to areas further out. Very much enjoyed the days tours organised by the guesthouse with tour guide Ephraim. I recommend 84th on 4th Guesthouse as a very nice place to stay in Johannesburg.

We had a great time at 84 on Fourth Guest. The Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean an suitable for us. The Area is very nice (Melville) and you get downtown in a few minutes. We recommend

Very good breakfast, good place whit close restaurants, relaxing place with internal garden. the staff was kind and helpful. I recommend this place if you are staying in Johannesburg. also get advice on day trips to do.

The staff is very nice and helpful, the area around the hotel is quiet with several restaurants; moreover, the hotel is close to the University of Johannesburg. Furthermore, the quality/price ratio is excellent and the breakfast is tasty and plentiful
