クルハナ ホテル & ヴィラズ カルカン(Kuluhana Hotel & Villas Kalkan)

Villa Cecili, Kalkan Booked through Kalkan Holidays. This is a 5 bedroom/5 ensuite villa in a quiet area. It was very clean, spacious with great views and lots of outside space and shaded areas. Lovely pool which can be heated. It is on a hill but taxis into the Old Town or harbour area are only about £3. The management team were good too. Would recommend Date of stay: September 2022

We visited Turkey from the west coast of America and had a wonderful time in both Kisla/Kalkan and its surrounding area as well as Istanbul. Hotel Kuluhana is located across the bay from the busier British holiday town of Kalkan, but it has access to everything Kalkan offers, yet is calmer and quieter. Easy access to Kalkan either from taxi or the local ferry, great beach area and a couple local hotel run bars and restaurants makes Kisla a great alternative to stay when visiting Kalkan. Kuluhana is perfectly located about a minute or two walk to the beach, it also has its own pool. New owner, Ozlem, is welcoming and very kind (as is her husband!) and makes for a lovely host on your stay. We were in the hotel's Penthouse room, which has an amazing view over the bay, but we found the west facing balcony a bit too hot to fully enjoy during peak sun hours. The morning and evening were definitely more comfortable. Kuluhana also has a restaurant, which offers traditional Turkish breakfast and dinner. Special note to the chef/s...we are vegan, which is more rare in Turkey, however the chef prepared us 4 different vegan meals, which were creative, absolutely delicious and very generous portions. We were very appreciative of this gesture and told them to keep them on their menu as there will no doubt be more vegans who may stay there. As Kuluhana gets through its first holiday season of 2022 we are confident it will become one of, if not THE best place to stay in Kisla. Thank you from all the way over in Portland, Oregon!

We are staying close by in one of the villas, but love this place. Lovely breakfast and good coffee overlooking the sea. No one wants to cook on vacation so this is a regular pattern for us. There's a late night but chilled bar, and really strong WiFi so if you need to get some work done this is a great little find. Also it's less than a minute (no exaggeration) from the sea front. Would recommend. Staff are brilliant too. Super attentive and friendly without being intrusive. From what I can see from the front, the balcony views would be amazing.

Oda temizliği, günü gelmesine rağmen ertesi gün çıkış yapacağımız için aksatıldı. Klima dış üniteleri balkonda olduğu için ses sebebiyle balkonda oturamadık. Balkonda çamaşır asmaya yer yoktu. Havuz motor sesi odanın içinde duyuluyordu. Otel personeli genel olarak soğuk ve isteksizdi. Oda temizliği yeterliydi. Kahvaltıda talep ettiğimiz ufak ek porsiyon yemeği, içeceği, kahveyi ekstra olarak hesaba kattılar. Oda türü hakkında anlaşmış olmamıza rağmen bizim onayımız alınmadan odamız değiştirilmişti. Klima odayı yeterli derecede soğutuyordu. Tuvalet sifonu tutukluk yapıyordu. Dolaplar yeterliydi. Erken saatlerde resepsiyonda kimse bulunmuyordu. Yedeği bulunmayan tuvalet kağıdını bir şekilde biz temin ettik. Otel anlayışından uzak, pansiyon tanımına daha yakın bir konaklama yeri. Bu fiyatlara daha güzel hizmet ve mekân sunan yerler bulunabilir ki biz bulduk.

We stayed here for just over a week in the middle of summer. The hotel upgraded our room which just completed a truly wonderful experience at Kalkan. The location of the hotel is away from the hussle and bussle and about 30 seconds away from crystal clear water beaches. The staff were polite and friendly - even the chef catered to our varied meal requests. Breakfast was a mix of hot and cold and plentiful, it was like our own personal buffet. The hotel is clean and adheres to COVID protection protocols (a big win as many around the area didn't have the same standards). You can walk to the local market (or call them as they deliver). The staff are super friendly and really helped a lot with navigating around Kalkan. The hotel's location is not central so you may benefit from having a car. We will definitely come back here again and would definitely recommend to those of you who want gorgeous beaches that are not heavily populated, comfort and clean rooms with beautiful views and quick and ready access to markets and restaurants.

Öncelikle biz gezmeye gittiğimiz için yatmadan yatmaya kullandık oteli eğer gün içinde odayı fazla kullanacak iseniz girişin hemen oradaki odayı almayın yemekleri aşçı gözünüzün önünde hazırlıyor ve çok güzel yapıyor yemekleri tavsiye ederim temizlik güzeldi ancak 1 gün odamız temizlenmedi çöpler alınmadı

Bayram tatilinde 3 gece 4 gün tam deniz manzaralı suit odada konakladık. İşletme bu yıl el değiştirmiş. Odanın temizliğinden manzarasına, Mehmet Usta’mın el lezzetinden İlker Bey’in güler yüzüne kadar her şey harikaydı. İşletme sahibi Özlem Hanım ve Özgür Beyin cana yakın tavırlarıyla kendimizi evimizde gibi hissettik. Her şey için teşekkürler. Herkese gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye ederiz…
